The Hammer Freezes

On the 17th of Sun’s Smile, 1562,  Duren, the Founder of Clan Hammerfist, and Darek, Clan Elder, met with Rhewen, Clan Father of Clan Frostbeard and Clan Elders Azkel and Vidar, to discuss the merging of the Frostbeards and the Hammerfists. After many hours of discussion the four Dwedmar came to a conclusion.

 

Duren, who had recently reclaimed Clan Father of the Hammerfists, stood in front of the Dwedmar of Clan Hammerfist. He cleared his throat before speaking;
“Mah kin, ah come tuh yeh tuhday wif ah big announcement. Clan Hammerfist, as recentleh discovered bah ancient manuscripts, are blood related tuh Clan Frostbeard. As Clan Founder, ah ‘ereby proclaim Clan Hammerfist tuh beh absorbed intuh Clan Frostbeard. The tuh Clans will act an’ function as a singular Clan.”

 

Duren steps down off the altar where he was speaking. Dwarves begin muttering words to one another, some shout in defiance at this announcement, yet the decision remains absolute.  

 

The Clan Father and Elders of the Frostbeard all agreed to bring their half-kin into the clan. The combination of the two clans makes the Frostbeards once again, one of the most powerful clans of the Dwedmar.
