As a retinue of Gold Corpsmen made their way to Laureh’lin, they were stopped by a sinister force. An assassin of undead in nature was attacking a wood elven soldier. The patrol made to accost the creature, but the foul being escaped, the Corpsmen choosing to prioritize saving the injured elf than hunt down the brigand.

The Gold Corps medics were able to save his life after a lengthy surgery.  After sending two scouting parties to find the assailant, and both coming up short, they took them the injured elf to Carnatia to be provided further treatment. The elf has survived his injuries, despite being in a sorry state.

"Stories like these, I think, really go a long way to disprove the stigma regarding Raevir-based groups such as the Gold Corps. Many people are very discriminatory and biased against Raevir people because of their accents and mannerisms, regarding them as almost barbaric. I shed a tear for all the struggles and hardships innocent Raevir face every day for simply being themselves. With each story like this, the Raevir become more accepted as a culture and a people, and that makes me proud of the tolerant, accepting, and kind Empire we live in." Brandon says, whilst shedding a patriotic tear.

William mutters "A Hamster of a Duke thought the same of ye and look at what happened to him. Even though we saved this elf they wish to purge us raevir niet caring about the mark we made in the history of our empire. Many times people have stated these words 'purge' and each time they have failed." he'd state
