I'll save my real post for later after I can formulate a full response to the many reasons why this is a poor decision. Not because of my situation, I can get this back easily.

 

But for the people that have spent over a year getting their skills to where they are now, only to lose them.

Those that can't put in the time that I can, is unfair to them.

 

And the whole "Here's Masterful free on every persona!" Is retarded. Part of the enjoyment of a skill system is working upwards. Climbing through the trash levels to reach the higher levels. Why are we giving it away for free? When it comes to Whitelist Applications, no new applicant, no new character, can be a MASTERFUL Something. They are expected and enforced to work from the lowest and becoming something more when they join.

And doesn't this encourage Pay To Win?  The more I donate, the more personas I get, meaning the more insta-free skills I can get! Doesn't that make it so donating gives you an advantage that those who can only have 2 Personas cannot replicate, thus breaking the EULA? 

 

And if your going to say "Oh personas can't interact with each other!" Don't give me that trash.  People circumvent the no sharing money rule daily. People give their other personas items daily. People even make GODSENT weapons for their other persona AND their other personas military group, when their actual crafter hates them RPly and would never happen. This system has been broken and flawed and abused. And when reported, the GMs have said that its fine to do it, we can't stop them. And the GMs that said this, are now our GM managers.

Doesn't take a genius to work this out. It is the ability where once you have a certain amount of playtime on a persona you can pvp, hence why new players can't.

Why don't we fix the grind by giving people xp for playing the game and have an ingame hour grant you a set amount of xp to distribute over skills.

and maybe the addition of an afk status when you stand still without talking for a while so that people can't do afk grinding for time.

Yo, maybe it should be like if you have Legendary+ on a skill you will get Masterful on that skill on that persona at 5.0... Just a suggestion to reward people who actually spent hours grinding.

Also will new personas always get the free XP with the current system or will their be a timeframe to get it after the map change?

I dunno, I was waiting to grind breeder until next map and just getting Masterful doesn't seem too fair.

Doesn't take a genius to work out that unless the staff spell it out one way, it could mean several things and come back to bite us in the ass unless we try and get it changed before whatever it is gets implemented. While you're probably right about the PvP and whatnot, I still want staff to specifically spell it out in case something is being added without us knowing. *dons his tinfoil hat.

AKA if you've played for more than like an hour or whatever, you can PvP, otherwise you count as a new player. Other mechanical bonuses I think are the more shops and etc.

We've spoken in specifics about what we can and can't do with our skill-wipe system. Mojang approved skill-wipes as EULA compliant, this doesn't change that fact.

So the fact that anyone can:

A) Put their EXP to Master Woodworker
B) Fell X Amount of Trees
C) Switch Personas and Grind WW to Angelic
D) Pay $10 and suddenly have a skill at Angelic
E) Rinse and Repeat

 

is allowed by the EULA?

 

And if it is, that's wanted by the community? A community that's been so against Pay2Win for so long?
