The sun beamed high above the Silver City of Haelun’or as the elfess makes her way into the town square. Her dark spheres scan the area; watching as the many high elves went about their day. She wasn’t here to join in idle gossip or to sit with her peers within the inn, no she had a purpose to be here today. The sorceress steps up onto the edge of the fountain as she clasps her hands in front her, producing a single loud clap.

“May I have your attention, fellow mali’aheral,” she calls out, her voice risen to catch the attention of the other high elves. She waits until they have gathered to go on. “I come here today to announce that here, on the 15th of the Amber Cold, I, Lanavia Iyathir, challenge Ikur Seregon for his seat on the council as tilruir'nor.” The elfess pauses before she goes on. “Have any of you gone hungry? Has there been a need for the city for anything supplies that has not been met? No. It has been because of my efforts we find ourselves with plentiful food and supplies. Ikur has not tended to his duties in ages. He is nowhere to be found. I will not stand idly by as this man remains comfortably sat within the council while I work laboriously to tend to his responsibilities.”

“And so I challenge his title,” Lanavia states flatly as she slips her arms behind her back. She scans the crowd before going on. “I feel it only right to do so and I know that I will continue to serve Haelun’or far better than he has in our time here in Axios.”

Bell rubs his face, having lived through a very similar situation once already in Skyfall, knowing that all hell is about to break loose.

Irhamir's head would dip downwards, a grin curling from his lips.

"About time for one to rise, hopefully we will achieve a proper economy by breaking some skewed parts of the olden culture."

A familiar oem'ii watched from within the crowd as the speech of Lanavia commenced. She acknowledged it in awe and admiration, as she seems to share a vigorous agreement to what she announced.

"Maybe I'll finally have the supplies to bake my cookies!"

The 'Wanderer' would cry in relief, the Igasoh village will promise two sacks full of rice every elven week if this girl, he doesn't actually know her name or anything, but this girl, is elected leader of the position he also has no idea about.

Avenel frowns, crossing his arms in tow. "I hate to not defend a close friend, but he hasn't been around. Knowing who this elfess is married to and her credentials, she'll get the position no matter what." Shrugging, "Her brashness and sass, luckily won't affect this position at all. Good luck, won't need it."

An elf would smile as she hears this, she leans forward a little, mumbling to the child,

"hopefully you will! I'm sure they are delicious cookies!"
