lemontide331 1615 Share Posted November 24, 2016 hey guys, nuvl here. so i was walking to college this morning, regular routine. but next to the bus station there is this isolated area where a lot of homeless people are and usually between 8-9am there is a lot of people walking through it to get to the college quicker but today i started college at 4pm for a late class. as i was walking through i noticed a bunch of homeless men sat down drinking, i was slightly nervous but i kept on walking forward thinking they wouldnt do anything. sadly i was wrong as i walked past one of them shouted me "ey you" so i stopped and said "yea?" then he said give us the bag and any money u have on you (my bag i take to college idk why they wanted that) so i said no and started backing off but i was really panic as this is first time it's happened t ome. (ive never fought ever) and one of them just tackled me to the ground and i resisted + tried calling for help so he punched me in the side of the face . i then kept saying please im sorry and they let me up whilst holding my arms behind me. one of them did that and another took my money which was only 5 so no big deal.. i then ran away. but im just pretty shocked. i dont think ill ever forget this. my mother said she'll phone the police but i doubt anything will happen. the only bonus out of this is that i told my gf i single handedly beat them up and lost nothing and she like "damn look at your battle scar" so i think i can turn this into a positive. anyway thanks for reading guys just know this can happen to any of you at any time so stay safe! #peaceallaround Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

A friend of mine had asked me to go watch Project X with him, which at that time I had been super stoked about. The showing was at 9 PM with us arriving sooner because his mom was seeing a movie an hour before. So we decided to kill an hour walking around the mall and ******* around in a K-mart lol. On our way back we were walking behind a Tillys when we seen this dude walking to his car, or at least thats what we thought. He began walk towards us and we were legit both just like wtf, and as soon as that thought hit our minds, he whipped out a pocket knife on us, I said "Oh ****" turning to my friend to seeing him completely ******* reroute himself out of the situation while I walked right into the guy. He came up to me and said "Drop your ****" he had a hoodie and I didn't really get that good of a description of him because you don't really expect a situation like that to happen. But when it did, all I could think about was self-defense even if I could've outrun him (I was a Sprinter in track growing up and switched it to long distance in highschool) but I kind of spoke to him sarcastically the whole time just because I was upset about the whole thing I said "I don't really know what kinds of things you'd want i've never really done this before." and he asked me for my money so I pulled $5 from my pocket and was like "Alright here this is all i have" kind of like he was stupid for even trying to get money from me continuing "I don't know what else you'd want" he kinda stared at me for a second (i was kinda pushing it with him im surprised he didnt swing on me lol) he looked me up and down and said "I see you have that phone in your pocket" so I handed over my locked phone and just kinda manuevered myself away from him gaining more distance as I walked away because I had nothing else to give him. As I walked away he yelled out I had better not call the cops or he would come after my ass too, so I kind of just looked behind me to acknowledge what he had said and apparently there was a guy on a bike sitting right behind me that I hadn't even heard. As I reached my friend, i immediately told him to call the cops so the rest of the time we missed the movie completely sitting on the curb in front of the theater talking to an officer about what had happened while the Police dog barked at me from the backseat.
