Okay cold take about the CRP system: Honor-based CRP is inherently at odds with High-Consequence CRP.
There are two ways to fix it
- Make a real combat system, which is made with the assumption of competition. People will optimize, but with a real combat system, you can actually balance it. (The more realistic option, since many magics follow this model)
- Make all consequences consent based.Β I don't gaf abt "avoiding consequences." If CRP is fully honor based (and thereby inherently unfair in absence of mutual good faith), then Theft, Maiming, Kidnapping, DC clauses, and PK Clauses should all require consent.
