To be perfectly honest, Syb, you're not being fair. I love your lore, and I agree that it needs to be read more, but the past is the past, and there's no reason to give up on the future. Players want to play Bryos, and they can't right now while others like myself get to because we timed it right, and it's not fair to those who came after us.

That's why I suggest that the application should have a description of the character being created and a list of changes that will happen to them mentally and physically. That way, the lore can be monitored and, if we have a limited number of Bryos, we can be selective about who all plays so that it's not abused.

Please don't give up on these players.

Most of my problems with bryophites boil down to the veridian moss. The idea that the plant consumes and then replaces someone as a plant person is a bad one. It stretches the suspension of disbelief pretty far, especially if they can continue to have magic somehow, still have their soul or whatever, etc. It just doesn't really make much sense and doesn't mesh well with other lore. I would rather 'plant people' be their own 'race' or creature, and not be dependent on replacing existing characters with plant matter.

You can't tell people who critique a server race to "read the lore" if you can't get half of the people who play that race to abide by it.

well, we have monkey people, cat people, dragon people, vampire people, even  f u c k i n g  horse people, I really don't see how this stretches above and beyond with all that in mind
