Defense’s Opening Statement:

Cornivore is the man of many names. A great man, a family man. His character, Ser Uther Grimlee, is known as the same. Cornivore’s feelings for this server has not faded since the day he logged on as a Wandering Soul to the day he was banned unlawfully. A ban is for someone like Charles the Bald, a criminal to the server who has no feelings for those they harm, friends or foes. Yet, Cornivore cared for the ones he had to defend in roleplay and in out of character, but he always put Ser Uther Grimlee’s feelings ahead of his own. A family man, banned for charges unknown to man. Does his name sound like Kincaid or Aengoth, no. Then why did LadyRebecca target him? The choice is yours.

 

Closing Opening Statement:

Every problem on LOTC should not end with a ban, every incident should end with justice for both parties. A ban does nothing to improve a player's attitude over the server, on either side, it just ruins it. End this now, aid the players instead of banning them. We might be a medieval roleplay server, but we should NOT mimic the medieval prison system.

This is exactly what i've been saying since the past map. Having the powers of a GM comes with responsibility to the community to handle situations without resorting to the worst decision immediately.

Also as a side note, you should be using a sans serif font for legal documents. This includes, but is not limited to, Times New Roman and Calibri fonts. If you wish for this document to be recognized in the court of law I encourage you to make the suggested changes post haste.

I agree, banning someone is a last resort. A player should only be banned if they're doomed to repeat the behavior they've demonstrated over and over again.
