He jabbed the stone head of his shovel into the gravel piled up in the wall, heaving it back with a grunt and tossing it behind him. "Always some war. Thought there'd be a bit more leisure time after Oren, but, guess not." He sighed to himself, continuing on with his digging. "Just wish I heard about things sooner. This has probably been going on for a decade."

Sophie would have watched from within the chapel the sea of short men and various elves charge at the Haense forces with confusion. It was not a sea of green she was seeing but only a small pod of it among the random blob of colors. Alas, the thought would be quickly swept away as her sword came to clash with that of short men, degenerate elves, and unholy beings.
