EPISTOLA AD FILIOS ELECTI PRIMUS: PEREGRINUS

FIRST EPISTLE TO THE CHOSEN SONS: CRUSADE

16th of the Amber Cold, Anno Domini 1611

His Holiness CLEMENT II, High Pontiff of the Church of the Canon, Archbishop of Fernandus, Visigia and Erochland, Prince-Bishop of St. Thomas, Mont St. Humbert, Johannesburg, Esheveurd, Luciensport, Huss, and Dibley, Abbot of Laureh’lin, and Hariam, Bishop of Godfreo, Mardon, and Carace, Minister General of the Humbertines, Successor of the High Priesthood of the Church, Hegumen to the Brothers of the Canon, Supreme Pontiff of the Church of True Faith, Keeper of the Canon, Missionary to Aeldin and Svatum, High Servant to the Exalted's Testaments, Humble Servant of the Faithful and Vicar of God, does write in solemn, zealous appeal to the Canonist faithful…

And the Church tore asunder, as an Emperor shook it and Schismatics tore stones from its foundation; and, by the scrolls of Auspice, the false prophets flocked like vultures to former battlefield, the Church did not recover for a decade. In the times of yore, it was the mix-blooded armies of Harren, who sought to degrade the Church. In the days of St. Pontiff Daniel I, it was the Waldenian schismatics. In the times of the Fifth Empire, it was the vile agents of Secularism which plagued both the Ecclesiastical, Aristocratic, and Imperial Estate, save John II Sigismund who assembled the Council of Pruvia.

In our own days, we are plagued by the Theodosian Schismatics and the Courlandish foe called Staunton who bears a false crown. We are plagued by the New Order, secularist, honorless, hypocritical, heretics. Those who scheme with the lesser descendents of the sons of God. We are plagued by degeneracy, by liberalism, by persecution. And we shall no longer abide this wound, left to fester by the post-Johannesburg Pontiffs. Which derived from a tumultuous age of decline, only briefly slowed by Bl. Sixtus IV. We shall no longer abide this Theodosian heresy.

Those faithful, who are now called upon to action, must not be mistaken. We are not fortunate, to live in such a time. Those faithful, who will find piety and zeal in their hearts. We are not blessed, to be sent forth to mend this unholy wart on the face of Man.  We are not lucky, to send these heretics to judgement.

We are not fortunate, but we are chosen. Here, the sons of Horen stand at a watershed in their history. Do not take the path of Iblees, do not stray down the path of degeneracy, the path of the New Order, of the heretics and hypocrites.

“But there are yet faithful. And they are assailed by twenty four false prophets, in their hands twenty four sealed tomes, bearing the mark of sin.” (AU:1). The Prophet Siegmund, Peace be Upon Him, foretold the great struggle of our times, whether it be infinite or current. We shall be assailed by false prophets, and we have. From the darkness foretold in Auspice, the minds of those akin to John Turnbull and Theodosius II struck upon the light of God. From the texts of God, we will derive strength. From the texts, and dogma, of God, we derive our mission.

May God have mercy upon those heretics, the foe, the New Order, those who wave the accursed banner of Courland and bear the disheveled Cross of the False Faith. All of these are declared anathema and shall only rise to the Seven Skies when they accept the Truth of God and reject the false claims of those evil Courlandish, their puppeteer Church, and the impurity which festers in their borders. Ye Faithful, in this time, we shall bring God’s truth forth. We shall no longer abide this wrath incurred upon our mother Church, upon God’s Divine Will. No longer shall we abide fallacious crowns and erroneous schismatics. All who choose the Divine Cause, to throw back into the void the degradation which plagues us, shall rise to the Skies unhindered, forgiven of all previous sins. For no sin is as great as defying God’s Truth and tearing his Church, his Chosen, the race of Man, asunder. Ye Faithful, join under the Light of God in Holy Crusade.

"Wise of His Holiness to illustrate the secularist and anti Church behavior in the 5th Empire. Should dissuade some ignorant fools from trying to claim this as a sign of imperialism. Not that there'd be anyone stupid enough to make such an idiotic claim anyway..." says Nik

Hearing of the news, Brother Alaric bows his head in thanks to the Creator, grateful for a Pontiff committed to the defense of the Faith. He gave ten whispered Hail Owyns in praise of the spirit of that Exalted Saint which worked through the Pontiff, breathing out a final, "Deus Vult."
