Extra MA's for Druids.

So basically, I am suggesting an additional two Magic Applications for druids. One for the knowledge of attunement, and one for the knowledge of creating soul trees. As it is, you literally just need to be a soul tree MA to teach it and just need a teachers application in commune and control, both of which is somewhat inaccurate to how it should work and I will explain further below!

Attunement is just as bad as unattunement when used incorrectly, could easily be abused and make random people into druids, and while you need to have a TA of commune and control, you still need to be taught attunement. How can someone prove they were taught it? Well, right now it's a trust system but honestly I do not trust the trust system, and believe an MA should be involved where if they are taught attunement then they just have the person who taught them to say they did indeed, without random people having TA and pretending they were taught.

 

Soul Trees can be known as even worse and just because you were made into a soul tree doesn't mean you would know the whole basics of it, as in what exactly you are doing with the sapling as the one overwatching and it could be counted as heavily powergaming. As soul trees are a very end-game sort of deal, and that this is another untrustworthy trust system where just cause you ARE a soul tree doesnt exactly mean you should one hundred percent know how to make more.

I mean, if they are taught how to attune, sure- Not against rogue druids out of character, but it would be good to know that if someone is attuned it is from someone who actually knows how to.

my only suggestion for such would have them be druidic feats because otherwise you're gonna push past the magic cap, since afaik druidism already has 5 subtypes (control & communion, herblore, blight healing, unnatuning, shapeshifting) Soul tree doesn't count as a magic type ig since it's a creature, but still.

Feats still require an MA right? If so, then this. Sorry, I'm not a smart boy- Especially not when it comes to magic applications, haha.

Feats require an ma but they're usually small things that don't count towards your 5 magic cap.
