We shall fight with honour and free ourselves like we did in the past,” -Romanos Palaiologos. House of Palaiolgos declares its support for House de Savin and House de Castro for their just cause. For too long House Halcourt has plagued Alexandria and Courland with it’s extremely poor administration. The once proud Capital of the greatest Kingdom of it’s time has fallen into darkness and poverty every since House of Halcourt took over, the streets of the proud city are empty, the markets are out of stock, the population is sick and dying due to the lack of medical supplies. Raiders, bandits and all kind of wicked and evil things have been raiding the jewel of Courland while the Regent Lord does nothing to improve the city defences, or train and equip a local militia in order to repel the invaders. Many witnesses have reported various of raids, even before the rebellion. Last but not least, House of Halcourt has not treated well the vassals of Courland, demanding back their lands, imprisoning their levymen, torturing and killing them in their dungeons. Demanding high and unfair taxes to the Lords who now lead the rebellion. House of Halcourt has also failed to keep their promises to the last remaining loyal Houses. The proud House of Palaiologos brings down the blue and white banners, raising the banners of the rebellion under the Twin Headed Eagle, the sigil of House Palaiologos while the levy slowly marches towards Savinia in order to reinforce the rebellious army. First, they backstab Lorraine, then they backstab Courland. They swear to Oren, only to backstab them in a damned coalition war. I wish that my father was still alive, he wouldn't put up with this tomfoolery." he stated with a sigh, "My uncle has destroyed once a powerful and graceful House. I suppose that I will have to suffer the consequences when this shitstorm is over. I will make it my duty to make sure that they do not get what they want... A dismantled human alliance -- A more united humanity, Oren- shall live on. I wonder if Loic has received the news, where is my brother?" he asked, looking up towards the night sky, then back towards the declaration, "Maybe it is time for me to come out of hiding, after all, it could do some good. I will pledge myself to what is right, but not to these rebellious fools." Klaus grimaced once more before laying the declaration down on the ground, trotting back off to his home somewhere deep in the woods. ((No metagaming please!)) Prince Gonzalo was given the honor to sing his own song where he started to sing about the disloyal and degenerate nephew of Abdes, Klaus. Next to him partying would be the old and grumpy Allaudin. "Good thing that you disowned him, right?" He laughs loudly, continueing to dance around as Elias starts doing his solo on the guitar. "Not be rude or anything, brother...
