[!] Tomes and volumes make their way through the world, and should anyone look at these tomes, they would find that the base hard cover has the title ‘A Discovery: Liquid Mana: Part 2’. If they choose to crack open these books, it would read:

A Discovery: Liquid Mana: Part 2

Founded by:

Avenel, creator and visionary of this project.

Siawn, assistant.

Preface:

The discovery of liquid mana has opened up our eyes to many different possibilities in the realm of both mundane and magical arts. Recently, we have began research on the different states of mana, as well as the the alchemical possibilities it grants us.

Consumption:

Of course, the question as to what happens when this is ingested has piqued our curiosity. We noted, that when giving it to three magical creatures, they appeared to eat it up like ambrosia. It was “satisfying and filling” to them. This is peculiar, as this proves liquid mana acts as a way to nourish arcane creatures. As for pedestrian folk, a woman known as “Red” was eager to try; imbibing it,  no physical or mental changes occurred to the woman. She described the mana to be thick and tasteless, and had an odd sensation as she felt something course through her, although the sensation was fleeting. Odd, that.

States of being:

Thus far, we have briefly studied mana in liquid, solid, and gaseous states. Though its liquid state has been covered in the last document (at least to some degree), its gaseous and solid states have piqued our interests even further. When the mana was condensed into a solid state, we found that it could effectively be used as a catalyst for enchantments and the like. So much so, that it proves to be more useful than mundane stones, but with a price. The solified form of mana appears smaller and smaller each time it is used, likely due to the fact that mana is being taken directly from the artificial stone; however, such only becomes a problem when the managem loses the mana an enchanter put inside of it and is forced to use its own being. When in a gaseous state, the mana would flow freely through the air with fleeting energy, though would remain in a gaseous state.

Alchemy:

After some study with the liquid substance and alchemy, we have found that a concoction which replenishes one’s mana can be created. Essentially, a “mana potion”. Further alchemical tests will be conducted in the near future, but for now - it appears this essence can be added in with concoctions as a symbol of magic.

Final Thoughts:

Once more, we have learned quite a good deal from this, especially now regarding its magical properties for alchemy and states of being. We will be conducting further tests with alchemy-- especially as a base for concoctions-- along with more research into scrolls. We do hope to acquire more results in the future.

Side Note: Help Wanted!

If any non-voidal mages wish to aid in the study of magical scrolls, specifically the testing of them, please seek out Avenel or Siawn. We will make sure to get in contact as soon as necessary!
