Philip's Demise

It was a quiet day as the Seneschal toured the town, a simple man he had only his sister and a singular guard at his side. He had a few sips from his wine sack as his gaze shifted from person to person, a smile on his face at the bustling city.

Yet it was not to be, a familiar face, a Roumston man ran up to him, clearly angry. He handed him a note, its contents clear “One of our men killed by guards … notified by Oswald” Philip looked up and was confused, unsure at what to say to him “Speak to His Imperial Majesty, I cannot help you.”

His paranoia was growing as a crowd had grown, Romstuns surrounding him with a doglike aggression. “I’m sorry…” the Romstun muttered before the horde attacked him, his singular guard yelled for reinforcements, and soon two rival mobs had formed.

Philip drew his Morningstar, once used by his father. Unarmored he fought the Romstuns, but he knew it was to no avail. His men were slain around him, and he was eventually disarmed.

Dragged into the Romstun tavern he was tied to a flaying rack, he could only spit out a few final words before the savages began their work.

“You’ll meet the same fate soon enough, Ave Horen, Ave Oren, Ave Peter!”

No more words could escape his lips as only pain filled his mind, slowly and surely his skin was ripped from his body. Only one more thing came to him before he ascended to the seven, his wife’s face appeared before his eyes, before they shut for its final time

Philip Owyn, fin.

"I warned him of his possible death at the hands of some dark force..but I did not expect this gruesome end." Victoria Vientos would sigh, looking out over the snow-capped mountains that rose behind the Ascended Tower.

Augusta Maria responded not, shrinking to Guinevere's feet. The woman wept at the base of the throne, hands held over the base of her neck as to soften the sobs which emitted from her throat. "We pray, cousin," She croaked, plunging to her knees in the center of the dais, rosary in hand. The proclamations bellowed, the noticeable woe dripping from them. This is all so foreign, so much that cannot be accepted, she thought. She pondered - pondered on the weapons that spill ichor and innocence onto God's lands, and no longer does she see the wonder and awe of a young woman. The gentlewoman remained silent, allowing the reality to keep her steady on the ground.  “Have you brought the Prince?" She broke the looming quiet, looking up from her clasped hands to the gaggle of men stood before her in the heart of the throne room.

Moira would hear of the news in passing as she'd make her way through the streets of Adelburg.

"Such a sad day when a good man dies." she'd hear from a woman, and in return she'd release a chuckle.

Felix Fitch would take note of Alifer's laughing from the walls towers. Adding his name and picture to the top of the wanted list.

Felix Fitch wouldn't know why he's laughing, to the naked eye it would just seem like some drunken madman.

"The Orenian engines of war shall turn for you, dear friend. There will be a reckoning! An unholy massacre in the likes that have never been seen before, House Romstum shall be wiped from the face of these Isles!" The enraged Archchancellor exclaimed, a fist slammed against his desk.

Philip Frederick holds back a tear as he stands within the church, swearing to avenge his beloved uncle.

Felix Fitch has Philip Owyn's death on his mind, and soon after a clearly psychotic individual is laughing aloud, causing the loyal captain of Oren to add two and two together. Thus causing the supposed 'drunken madman' to be written up at laughing during the mourning of the young Imperial Prince-- Quite a distasteful thing to be doing on it's own, in spite of his idiotic ideals of grandeur.

Despite this, it wouldn't matter since the mad-man would of been robed and masked making it impossible to put a name let alone a description on the board.

Virius Doomforged, extremely out of the loop, would widen his eyes in shock at the news. "Nae, t'is is not roight! Philip was t'e one who blew up Johannesburg! 'E's dead again?" One of his many clanmates would mutter something to him, the young dark dwed's eyes now the resembling flaming red saucers.

"Philip Fredrick? Nae! They must be the same man!" His lips curve down in a frown, but he continues on his way.
