Hey there Im salty rn so Im going to right this and go to a punching bag... xD joking, but Im salty, because I feel as a new player, I have been cheated of rp.  Granted I probably did things wrong as I got more salty that are worthy of a bann, but I just wanna talk about the power gaming that lead up to me getting salty and how to avoid that kind of stuff

 

SOOOO STORY TIME

found 2 little 9 and 6 yr old kids ganging on a mage and I knew the 6 yr old ic and so I  emoted tackling the mage to help the kid.  Mages are known for their weakness and so I figured i would be able to out strength the mage on the floor.  The mage kicks me and sends me flying, I should have denied it since I was stronger, but I let him do it.  I drew my sword and long story short it was me with a bluesteel sword and him with an iron sword and a blocked void magic.  I charged at him, and he wrote this long emote about dodging and moving to the side, i emoted, he emoted running away.  Tbh at this point im just ranting to release salt, I'm figuring he really did nothing wrong.  But the real reason I feel cheated is because I allowed the mage to get the better of me.  contine on to the next day the mage finds me arrests me and I get killed rip me.  Now by that time I was already salty because there was a flood gate of random emotes and people not following the emotes and bla bla ya, in the end I emoted me dying from falling by someone pushing me so I wouldn't get Pked, I think thats bannabled but ya Im admitting it so yap, vent session.  Anyways me and this guy are pretty salty by that time so we confront the mage  (who had died because someone in the crowd shot him lol) I tried my best to rp as if I had only known him from the alleyway and not the gaurd confrontation, but my saltyness got the better of me and we ended up fighting again.  Again for some reason the mage had insane sword skills and ya so the guy I was hanging with just killed himself in salt and so did i.  We refused to d40 though because we were salty I eventually did d40 but after resisting awhile (again bannable and i dont blame the admin if u do bann me). SOOO WHATS THE MORAL U ASK!!!!

 

Well theres multiple, 

 

1. Talk over pvp sitches before hand if u plan to engage work out wether u want it the roll system, just rp system (witch I dont recommend for new players because veterans will word their rp so precise that some kids cant even understand what they said and when u realize that whole paragrapgh u read was actually ur opponent getting behind ur back, u cant do anything because u didnt understand there fookin paragraph emote and now they have the upper hand) OR JUST PVP.  If both of you dont agree, defender chooses OR JUST BACK OUT OF THE SITUATION because its about what u want ok? You want to make ur experience fun and playing by other peoples rules IS NOT FUN.

2. IF UR NEW AND PLAN TO BE A NOT GOOD PERSON THEN EXCPECT TO DIE A LOTTTT. Im not sure who wrote this but someone noted in bad guy rp tips that u have to accept ur char dying alot.  And thats because of two reasons, 1 evil are never supposed to really win the war, maybe win the battle, but not the war.  2. There are those little f boys that don't wanna rp being stolen from by another person and do whatever they do to shift the odds in their favor (sometimes even powergaming).  Even if its logical to be stolen from like 3 guys are fighting 1 guy in rp but that one f boy doesnt wanna get stolen from so he just emotes him dodging everything and throwing punches like a man on steroids. salt thrown... next moral

3. DO NOT LET THIS GAME CONSUME U. Take a break from the game everyso often to remind urself, this is not ur life, BECAUSE if u grind so hard on this game to get good stuff, and all of a sudden, someting bad like a bandit takes it or the gaurd system is corrupt and they kill u or WHATEVER, being consumed in the game will only make you madder because u spent so much time on the game only to lose all your hard word.  so I challenge you to get off ur arse right now and go for a 1 mile run in under 8 min (or 1.6 kilometers for u non americans :) I gotchu  Fam).   GET OFF UR LAPTOP AND REMIND URSELF THIS IS A GAME, if youve already done, that congrats I strive to be like u :).

4. IDK BECAUSE IVE COOLED DOWN MY SALT LVLS ALREADY AND FORGOT EVERYTHING ELSE I WAS GOING TO TYPE.

YA  I think im calm now, 

I AM TRULY SORRY TO ANYONE IF I HAVE RUINED THEIR RP EXPERIENCE OVER THIS SALT I DO NOT BLAME ANYONE IF I AM TO BE BANNED IN THE NEAR FUTURE BUT MYSELF.  Now gn u returded f boys.... JK Im not that mean, I'd feel bad if I ended like that xD just remember to have fun guys if ur not having fun just take a while to calm down.  You should never play a game if its not fun for you :)

Mages can be as strong as you or stronger actually. They only get weaker when they have low mana. Just sayin'. Though I'd highly doubt any 'mage' kick would send you flying if that's what he emoted. The max you'd get knocked back if you yourself are pretty strong, 2-3 feet. 

 

Edit: Another sidenote: If a mage or anybody emotes voidal magic whilst physically attacking you, that's pg. The concentration would have broke under the stress.

As the mage in this story i just want to point out something with your wording. I kicked you in the shin and you stumbled back, you didn't go flying (Other then that i agree with most of the stuff you said in this post). Ok, now to the pain point, yes, my character is fairly skilled with a sword, i parried off one of your swings before running. I wrote long emotes cause i want them to be detailed and i don't want any confusion from whoever I'm countering. Mages are generally weaker yes but that doesn't mean there cripples who have bones that snap with a single touch. They can still fight, the thing is you didn't utilize the fact that i am indeed weaker, if it was a fight of sheer strength i would've lost 100%,

the thing is my character hadn't been casting what so ever so he wasn't tired, he was at full strength. I don't think parrying off a sword or ducking under a branch that is being swung at you is PGy at all. I'm sorry for writing such long detailed emotes but i was clarifying any moves in OOC if you needed it, i take CRP very seriously and write long emotes so people know exactly what i'm doing and how, if i emoted *Parries off blade and runs off*, i think you'd be more salty.

Ya sry Jycarson this is a vent so not alot of this may be accurate and u are right I was just being salty for not accepting that bad guys will eventually meet their match.  sry for the salt and words being thrown at u

Agreed. That's why I also, write long ass emotes with full detail on how my character reacted to the attack or attacking himself. I even sumup with an [!] To make it easier for them to understand.

It doesn't matter if you're good or bad, anyone can get out of any situation if they Rp it correctly. You just have to watch out if you're doing villainy rp because people usually view it negatively if its not done well, and it can lead to many ooc arguments.
