A letter is penned in reply,

Dear Grand Ser Draken Lancefield,

"Thank you for reading this letter, Grand Ser Lancefield, we've met a few times in the past, mostly on the battlefield.  I'm writing in regards to the taking of the knighthoods that occurred this past Saints Week.  I would like to speak with you personally in regards to the changes, and make a personal petition to re-instate my title of Ser.  I've had my title for close to twenty years, knighted by a previous Grand Ser for heroism in the war against Mordring.  I was never a squire, Grand Ser, I was knighted on the field, and I humbly ask for your audience in the near future.

Yours,

Berengar Helvets.

Draken reads the letter, pleasantly surprised by its nature. He pens a reply to the veteran knight.

"Dear Berengar,

Your note was a refreshing piece of feedback, much different from many of the knight's petty reactions thus far. These reactions have been quite telling to me. I am aware of your former deeds and remember when you came to me in search of the last Grand Knight.

I will meet you gladly, brother. Contact me in one Saint's day and I will speak with you man to man."

"If every knighthood is being stripped I expect the grand knights title to be stripped also" says Galahad

"Yes, lets totally do that." Philip Frederick sighs out with a heavy coat of sarcasm. "How dare we have a Grand Knight who is actually cutting at the source of the issue rather than patching over it and pretending it doesn't exist." He continues on with before finishing shortly after. "Look, if you truly are worried about not recieving your knighthood, then that in itself proves that you know you are not deserving of it. Otherwise, you would do the logical thing and approach the Grand Knight instead of whaling in the streets like some cat on heat."

"If only the rest could act in the same manner." Aeternius says, after getting word of Berengar Helvets' letter to the Grand Knight.

A stark contrast to many of the other knights, Ser Maxwell raises his head from reading the act, going to the balcony of his keep (which wasn't siezed  by this act, you still have your land!) and looking out towards the fields and forests of the crownlands. "I won this knighthood with my service before. I shall earn it back again. Any true knight should. There were far too many knights and that's coming from one personally." He says, before adding to his statement "Also His Imperial Majesty seems to like me, I should be alright." He says with a chuckle, heading back inside.
