How much to buy the server?

In all honesty, I think this could be a great story server. The problem I see is with how staff members, are at odds with the player base, or one another. I don't really like Democracy of the masses all that much, because of obvious reasons. So I would rather offer to buy the server off of Tythus, and make Staff, a Temporary Job.

Certain players have made insane offers that most normal people couldn't refuse and they still didn't buy it off Tythus.

i hear this a lot but i dont think anyone has ever shown proof but idk

Just about every player has someone they would prefer as an owner to Tythus, and just about every player would be up in arms if the person they didn't prefer purchased the server. The day Tythus sells is the day the server truly dies.

scene dipped thousands in never got any level of administrative control let alone ownership so i think youre gonna go along the lines of 10 - 100k. that sounds ridiculous but the man does not want to sell

Nah, probably the day the staff change from a circlejerk and the server changes tbh

I -- ah.. when you put it like that it conjours up the scene of an E.R. and LOTC's mainframe has the unhappiness expression. And Tythus is the Life Support machine keeping the Cancer from winning..

I... think I found the answer?

"For a 20-year franchise agreement, Burger King requires an upfront payment of $50,000 and admits that start-up costs can run well over $500,000. Would-be Burger King franchisees must have $500,000 of liquid assets and at least a $1.5 million net worth."
