Elves of Axios, you are invited to the Silver State’s grand ball!

The event is open to all Elves, provided that their attire is up to par with the ballroom dress code. This shall be a special masquerade ball, where all guests are required to dress up in their most formal, extravagant ballroom masks, or other costumes which obscure their facial features. Anonymity at this ball is crucial, for it should be a special celebration, not plagued by personal disputes or political rivals, but rather, blessed by enjoyable festivities, structured purely around a positive, joyous atmosphere.

Wish to bring your foreign acquaintance? Worry not, all Elves are permitted to bring a single guest to attend this extravagant festival, provided that they, too, follow the dress code, and come prepared with their own mask. Neither Orcs or Dwarves are permitted to enter the halls, and all guests must be well mannered in order to attend. Construct acquaintances are permitted, as well, if one wishes to bring their Golem or Atronach, though their owners shall be responsible for their actions. Animals are prohibited.

Complimentary dinners and beverages shall be provided. Catering shall be provided by Baptiste’s Bistro, and all meals and drinks shall be free of charge. In addition, we’ve musical performances prepared for this festive night. If you or a musician you know would like to perform, as well, please contact us to provide music for the ball.

The masquerade ball is scheduled for this upcoming First Seed ((Saturday, 12/02, 3pm EST)), so please, don’t be afraid to attend. We desire as many guests as possible to enjoy a productive, sophisticated festival.

So please, stop by with your best dance partner, an appetite for professionally cooked Illatian cuisine, and the aptitude for civil discourse!

We’ll see you there, party-go’er!

Signed, Aerenna.

Rhillen gives a very rare smile as one of the posters gets shown to him by a sillumir soldier "Ahernan, lliran. May i recommend finding some fine clothes? The Sillumir will attend of course, find masks for the soldiers. Oh, and bring the rapiers. We will be security." He says to the sillumir before nodding and sending him off, returning inwards towards the housing behind to find his own fine clothes, and fine weapons for the security team

"It is time for me to 'bring out the big guns', as a majority of idiotic people do proclaim so carelessly when preparing for an event."

Varil'ja remarked.

Varen’thal questions this as well, sighing with exasperation,”Orcs and dwarves are the allies of our allies. I don’t understand why either are banned. Time to pester Cenwall.”

The ball's organizing party would receive a letter from Leyu'celia:

''Karin'ayla, lliran! I have gathered a few questions from some of my Warhawke brethren, including yours truly, as your poster might not be so comprehensive:

- 1 (Oem): Some are not sure of this ball's location. I presume it will take place in Haelun'or, Taliyna'maehr specifically, although it could also be otherwise;

- 2 (Niut): Quite a large portion of my brothers, yours truly as well, enjoy having a wardrobe of clothing that might be considered inappropriate in other countries. It is part of our culture, as you might have guessed. So we wonder if the references to a dress code apply only to the masks or to the clothing as well;

- 3 (Hael): I'm curious about the racial exclusiveness of this ball. More specifically, individuals of mixed breed. Does the elven blood in their veins earn them access, or their other half, be it valah, bortu or uruk, forbids them entrance?

I hope to receive an answer soon.

Yours sincerely, Rhaemund Devione.

P.S: Illatian cuisine? You truly seem to be people of culture!''

A letter is sent by a simple innkeep, who somehow caught wind of the first missive. It reads as follows:

"Mister or Missus Devione,
I am Cinh'llytn Len'irrin, proprietor of the Dancing Dragon Inn, and supplier of instruments for the ball. To answer your questions, firstly, the ball's location is only disclosed to those elves that have RSVP'd. If you wish to find out where to go, I suggest RSVPing yourself, or if you are of a non-elven race, to seek out an elven friend. For your second question, I do not know what you would consider 'inappropriate', though the dress code, as stated, is ballroom attire, thusly, I suggest showing up in a fine dress or strapping suit, depending upon your gender, rather than one that is more provocative. Remember, you will dine and dance among some of Haelun'or finest citizens, and even members of the State's government. To address your third and final question, I shall say that while I cannot ask the event's lead organizer at the time of writing this, the State holds a policy that mixed race people are generally frowned upon. At least provided that they are of mixed mali'aheral blood. As for wood elven or dark elven, that is of little matter or consequence. In summary, one, RSVP, or seek an elf who has, and ask them to bring you as their plus one, two, dress formally, in something apt to dance about in, and do not forget your mask, and three, persons of mixed mali'aheral and another race's blood are not welcome, as is State policy. I do hope to see you, or I suppose, your mask. Don't forget to come up with a clever alias, as they are recommended.
                                                                                                        Sincerely, Cinh'llytn Len'irrin, Tilruir'lliran & Innkeep"
