The Great Elven Migration

An old Wood Elven Druid, watching his people leave.

Nothing stirred within the lands of the Dominion. Expect moving boxes.

Hundreds of Elven-kin, tired of the state of the Dominion, or tried of the state of the wars, had grown weary of the lands. No longer within the safe gnarls of the tree’s, yearly attacks had grown them tired. The people grew tired, and afraid. So they moved. They took their children and families away from the blood-soaked city walls, from the dropping tree branches, from the houses that had kept them safe.

The Dark Elves in the Dock District had fled to places like Warhawke’s, or had simply vanished into the world.

The Wood Elves, growing ashamed, had too fled from their square. In the mornings, Valah had been parading in. The most recent attack had been rumored from the Reiters, which they left skulls and black banners around the empty square.

And the people in the High Elven district with drew themselves, snug in their homes. Watching quietly as the mass of the Elven population simply left.

Now the streets lay empty and barren. Only the quiet chirp of animals, and sometimes the soft patter of footsteps as the occasional soul, a trader or a Druid, traveled around. The fires of the Dominion flickered ghostly, like a dying child. The once great Elven nation now lay down, like an animal being laid to rest.

Would it be returned to its former glory? Or would it remain down, like a dog?

OOC:

To note, this a post about the resent evictions that have going on the Dominion. The population as fallen due to finals or other IC things that I'm not aware of. To my knowledge, lots of people have simply left, hence the post reflecting this. This is ment to reflect the current state of the Dominion. This does NOT mean the Dominion will remain this way-simply it is this way right now.

A Dominion officer sorted through the collected items from evicted houses. Taking the weapons, armour,  and other useful items, moving it to rally chests, and Virarim storage. "Highly unfortunate. But also not my issue."

This is just OOC propaganda brought IC, hundreds of elves haven't left- The dark elves of the district haven't left either, they are rebuilding their district. As for the three gods of nature... They wouldn't reside in Caras Eldar, nor would they appear just to watch people walk out of the city...

Gwion, raised a nomad and still a nomad, watches the flight of the elves without much concern. People move all the time--

An 'ame woman looks up from her woodcarving, smiling at the people walking past the bench she sits on and laughing at the antics of children as they happily run about. Seeing a friend she beckons him over to ask about his day before heading down to the docks. With fascination she watches the renovations and rebuilding taking place across the seaside district until realizing she should get out of their way.

As Cookie roams about, enjoying the sunlight and gentle breeze drifting through the trees, she finds a drunkard rambling about blood-soaked walls and gesturing to a crowded street with screams of it being empty. Luckily guards soon arrive to escort the elf away, a strange interruption to an otherwise peaceful day. Finally she arrives at the tower of the Mage Guild where she finishes her day by browsing their library and listening in to the chatter of the scholars present within.

Spoiler

I was just in Caras Eldar yesterday and saw quite a few people running about despite it being an off-hour. Sure the population isn't at the peak it was roughly a month ago but considering people are dealing with IRL stuff like finals that's not surprising. Nowhere on the server has massive activity right now.

You aren't the nation leader or even holding a position of power in the Dominion so pretty odd for you to decide the state of their city for them.

And yeah as Sky stated already the Aspects wouldn't care about a nation like that. They are not in Caras Eldar, they're not watching Caras Eldar, they have better things to do with their time.

Abelas is surprised at this propaganda when Caras Eldar seems as populated as ever, the Virarim invigorated and ready to fight and the faith still remaining strong within its borders. He'd also be confused as he's been seeing more Dark Elves in their district than before...

The High Prince takes a moment to walk through each district. In Irrinor, he saw the Aspectist faith flourish - greenery filling the area and the consistent chattering of wayfarers and residents echoing from the square. He gave pause, simply elevating a light smile and moving along.

To Velunor was next - and with a slight sense of pride and awe Loriens witnessed the new additions and remodeling. The area created was filled with piles of spice, empty stalls eagerly awaiting new owners, and tall ships bobbing along in the harbor.

Then came Valleinor. One of the more notably quiet districts indeed - yet from the Mage's Guild was wrought curiosity and discovery. Passing by the guild he saw but a few filtering in and out.

"Though foes rest on the horizon - Caras Eldar flourishes within. Each day I witness the Mali'ker proudly stand for and build their culture. Each day I pass Druids staying true to the tenets of the Lord and Lady. Valleinor is quiet - though some of the brightest minds research within.

I am proud of what has been built here. Imaginative, those who think us a dying state."

OOC Note:

This is the second piece of propaganda you've created in an attempt to hinder the Dominion. I would advise you cease writing from a place of omnipotence on the forums, and faking migrations that never occured. You certainly aren't allowed to divine characters, and 'hundreds' of elves leaving. It's some degree of powergaming in order to supplement your own disagreements with the government.

This isn't even an IC document you're posting - you're just faking events.

((Continue to write power-gamey posts that inflate a couple of evictions that you disagree with because of your rageful SJW sensibilities and I will credit you as you deserve by ban reporting you and showing the truth to the Game Moderation Team, Forum Team and the Administration if need be.

The majority of the Isiolioleths are still intact.

The core Wood Elven/Naelurir player bases are largely intact.

The Upper District still has activity with the Mages Guild upon occasion, although it is suffering.

This is your only warning to stop touting your spun-up rumors and OOC biases as facts that aren't objective or even close to being accurate. You have been warned. ))

Kairn Ithelanen, the one responsible for fighting off a number of raids and leading successful strikes on the enemy, scours the lands with his men and removes all notices of this alleged travesty that has not occurred. "Again with all the fake news." He growls with annoyance, his Bronze and Praetorguard nodding in unison and scoffing for the most part. They would find out who was responsible.

((Who is stopping me? Nobody. What is stopping me? This post isn't an actual in-characterly written notice, it is a writing that even goes as far as to state, "Gods/Goddesses are watching this" and other information that is written as environmental when it's lore-breaking, untrue and falsified to fit this individual's OOC prerogative. She even writes in a Druid that she doesn't have as a personal character, a Druid that doesn't exist. The post is legitimately fraudulent and she should feel absolutely despicable for the amount of lore-breaking and rumormongering she's committed. Not once is this stated as her character's belief, it is touted as an Event post when it is untrue. There is no great Elven displacement, there is no mass exodus of hundreds of people, it is all to fit her narrative that a nation is failing when it truly isn't receding.

@Chorale_ you should handle this right away.

You too please, @Fireheart

This kind of OOC defamation gives people the wrong idea if they're stupid enough to believe it. Though anyone with half a brain doesn't take this **** seriously. ))

Håkón nods as he witnesses hundreds,  even thousands of elves leaving their home for greener lands. Maybe even hundred thousands. He does not know. The dwarven gods nods beside him.

Koralon watched nearby, sitting in Dungrimm's lap. She approved of the mass exodus as well.
