1. Where can the GM team work harder to better the community as a whole?

2. When will I see events focused around me so I get awesome loot?

3. On a scale of 1-10, how hyped were you when you found out Chorale resigned?

4. What was your favorite map?

5. Favorite memory with me?

I came to ask a question but as I was reading the first sentence of your AMA I realized it was too long for my tired eyes so why the hell is it so long

Don’t worry

rewrite pending ?

The fingers tend to flow at 2-3 am. I did warn you in the beginning with 'one sided conversational ramble'.

What do you think of me?

Will I make a good blacksmith?

How do I make my roleplay better?

Am I lame?

You're a really cool dude and from what I have seen, a good GM too! I like roleplaying with you and chillin with you in VC, always a good time. As for you being a blacksmith, yeah the main thing with good roleplay is passion. You have plenty of that. As for improving roleplay, its hard to say because everyone has different opinions on what good roleplay is. Longer emotes, shorter emotes, more fancy words, less fancy words. I think it comes down to how you portray a character with depth and personality that they act as a supporting set piece to the world and draw people into LotC's setting further as opposed to being a dude whose there. Not saying you don't do that already, but thats just what I try to do. All my characters I consider NPCs to a point in that I'm not actively trying to stand out.

You're about as lame as an Olympian athlete. So no. You are not.

who was the greatest blacksmith to ever grace this server?

lotr or got?

I actually can't say for sure because the only roleplay for that I experienced was my own. I don't remember a lot of roleplay I've had between when I first started and now so I can't say for sure. I have to roam around the server more on Lark Steelwall 2: Graven Boogaloo and survey people to see how it goes. I usually take people's word for it about good blacksmith roleplayers. Puddlemancerpro has potential if I could think of one set of writing I've seen for that recently.

I've read both book series and I'm biased towards GoT because I think its more well written because Tolkien oversaturates his writing with description. But thats just me. That said, Tolkien wrote some amazing characters and an even more amazing world me and my girlfriend both love to death. Still gotta finish watching the movies and tv series though for both.

IT WASNT ME I HAVE NO IDEA WHO DID THAT. They said I couldn't on the main server so I only did it the one time way back in June. I rarely smite people nowadays because its a global sound. I fireball people or ONE PUNCH them as my personal forms of abuse.

1. @countessem (Sakura) needs to stop bringing bad players to the glass room...But in all seriousness, I don't think its entirely up to the GM team to better the community as a whole. We can only do so much as staff members to influence the server and make calls based on what we know whats going on and how they will be in the short-term and long-term. People tell us to crack down on so much but...we can't if we don't know about it. NSA Plugin is for catching cyberers and racist remarks, not for catching stuff like powergaming and metagaming. Thats something people have to notify us about so we can put on our detective hats (because lets be honest, thats what the GMs are and its lowkey kinda fun) and comb through logs to figure out the context of the situation and judge accordingly. I feel the community lets the mob mentality of '**** THE ESTABLISHMENT" thrive way too often that it creates a false image of what we're actually trying to do and it embitters a shitton of people including myself as youv'e seen on the forums. The GMs shouldn't have to defend themselves on the forums for something we didn't do, and that goes double for the players. People dropping drama on the forums helps NO ONE AT ALL, it only serves to schism the community further and I think once people start realizing that, we can come together closer as a community. We're not all gonna get along, you don't have to. People have to realize we're all here to make fun not just for ourselves but each other, and the goal should be how to make a cool character for yourself and others to enjoy.

2. Buy yourself a Pocket ET Today! Only 13 Xarkly Bucks! (Xarkly Bucks are a non refundable form of currency and only used on the Lord of the Craft Premium Roleplay Experience, they are totally and utterly useless everywhere else)

3. I wasn't hyped. Watyll was my friend and so I was understandably upset about his comments, and even more disappointed with his behavior. But he's young, so hopefully he'll mature and look back on all of this and it'll just be a time to grow. If he proves himself to grow, he can come back. Actions, not words. An apology doesn't mean **** if you're going to ignore the principle of what an apology means.

4. Anthos. Best memories, I miss the Carrion Crew back in Kralta so much. We were a bunch of ******* nutjobs then and it was great to **** around, especially when the Adunians moved in next door. There was a lil ooc toxicity back then but its nothing compared to what we have now and I remember being very disappointed they actually left because we had no one to bicker with anymore. Wasn't so much the map back then but the community. In terms of DESIGN, Atlas is growing on me.

5. Skale and Dain shenanigans were always fun, I can't remember a specific moment at the time of writing unfortunately but Dain was by far my most sociable character and having funny moments with you on him was always a blast ?

If you owned the server; what kinds of large or fundamental changes to it would you make? Including, rules, lore, mechanics, plugins, everything. Don't worry about going in depth with each point, I'm just curious to see what your thoughts are. Feel free to do it in a list format. Like: 1) blah blah 2) blah blah etc.

There is a lot I would change regarding regulation of some things and have had much clearer and more concise rules from the start. I would certainly be around a bit more and have a bit more handle on the server and try to be very involved with the community. While Tythus has a life and his own ****, personally I feel it makes the server homier when you do **** like that. Plugins are fine tbh, maybe a few more QoL things i cant think of off the top my head, def pay coders so I could yell at them legitimately if we didn't have plugins done on time, which is a major issue of execution on this server. Mechanics would be probably a bit more detailed, otherwise LotC doesn't have as many problems as people like to yell about. While I'm also one of those people, if you set aside a lot of the community strife and just try to have fun, you'll find it and it will be a good experience. No community is perfect and LotC never will be, that said I would certainly try to push for a paradigm shift towards that attitude so people wouldn't be so goddamn nitpicky and just try to enjoy themselves.

What is love?

Serious non-paternal love is a choice, you choose to love someone, platonic or romantic, you set aside their faults and love and cherish who they are anyways, enjoying them for who they are, love is also being able to appreciate and enjoy yourself as well, and choosing when to love, and who to love.

1) you're pretty fuckin awesome, but I hope you already knew this. To give a more detailed answer, I remember roleplaying with you back in Athera on Dain and loving the chats we'd have in character, I miss that, you've always been a good roleplayer and immensely talented writer whose stood out among the crowd of other talented writers on LotC. As a person, you're outspoken at times but with good reason sometimes but you've always struck me as a very rational and forward thinking individual, which I respect and appreciate immensely.

2) Vaeyl Order lore, probably one of my favorite lore pieces on the server, as far as public lore? Shade Lore for its origins in Aegis and the player history behind it and Dwarven lore in general, while I don't play a dwarf, their cultural and crafting lore is my favorite and I like how Dwarves are a mix of Dragon Age, LotR, and WoW Dwarves, they are my ideal Dwarves personally.

3) Crafting Roleplay and Tavern Roleplay, I love making things, but I can only enjoy it both forms when I'm around people. If I wanted to solo roleplay I'd write a damn book. I enjoy tavern roleplay for the banter and gathering of characters it would bring, being a tavernkeep as Dain was probably one of my favorite times on the server aside from when I was playing Lark Steelwall.

4) My Gf is actually allergic to the skin of kiwi so neither please.

5) Community, staff and players, acts in dumb manners and frustration with no end in sight builds over time + constant cycle of lack of conflict resolution for years and years on end + outrage at lack of conflict resolution which breeds even less conflict resolution = jaded.

6) Before the summer is over, just before the sunsets so you aren't too hot and you won't have to deal with mosquito and such, and then while you're enjoying hotdogs the fireflies will come out and it'll be fuckin picturesque

7) people powergaming and doing dumb **** with magic, also its old and broken, thankfully flam is doing something about it and I for one am hella thankful. I am a little sad I won't get to be apart of that but I have faith that you guys will do spectacular.
