NOMINATIONS FOR THE MARKEV MAER BI-ELECTION

 

Issued by his Highness the Lord Steward, Edward Audemar Barbanov, and enacted on the authority of his Majesty, Sigmar Lothar I, King of Haenseti-Ruska.

Va Birodeo Herzenav,

 

                   With three years of his four-year term complete, his Excellency, Brog Dhoon, Maer of Markev, has resigned from office citing illness. As such, a bi-election will now be held to elect a new Haensetian to the office of Maer of Markev. The duties of Maer consist of providing administrative support, hosting public events and gatherings, and ensuring new arrivals in the city are welcomed and attended to. The office of Maer is accompanied with a seat on His Majesty's Small Council, and the elected Maer will be required to attend meetings, report on the performance of their office, and generally contribute to the administrative ove government.  His Majesty, King Sigmar Lothar I, now welcomes the people of Markev to nominate themselves to run for the position before a formal vote is held in the new year. Nominees are required to make themselves publically known to the Aulic Council alongside their ideals and vision for Markev. [Make a post here to nominate yourself for the position.]
