WARRIORS OF KRUGMAR

 

WE HAVE SEEN MUCH TRIBULATION IN RECENT TIMES AND THE TIME HAS COME TO RENEW OUR WARRIOR SPIRITS. WE ARE THE BLADES OF KRUGMAR AND BY DECREE OF THE REX, SHAKUL THE BLACK HAMMER OF GORKIL AND THE BURNT, IT IS PROCLAIMED THAT ANY WHO WISH TO HOLD A POSITION OF LEADERSHIP MUST GRADUATE THROUGH A TRAINING CAMP THAT WILL BE KNOWN AS THE GAUNT. IT IS TIME TO FORGE OUR WARRIOR ETHOS IN TURMOIL AND QUENCH IT IN DISCIPLINE.

 

THE GAUNT WILL TEST YOUR COMBAT PROWESS, SURVIVAL INSTINCTS, UNYIELDING HONOR, FIRM INTEGRITY AND YOUR CUNNING OVER A SPAN OF MONTHS.

POOLS OF FIVE WARRIORS AT A TIME, BE THEY URUK OR GOBLIN OR OLOG OR HONORARY, WILL DEPART WITH THE GAUNT INSTRUCTOR INTO THE WILDERNESS WHERE THEY WILL PROVE THEMSELVES AMONG THEIR COMPATRIOTS.

 

AT THE END OF THE GAUNT IF YOU HAVE PASSED YOU WILL BE GIVEN A COLOUR TO WEAR UPON YOUR SHOULDER WHEN SUITED IN ARMOR TO DISTINGUISH YOURSELF.

The Gaunt will act as a type of Basic Training in Krugmar and has been planned out to be a fun roleplay adventure that will take a few days to complete. It will train people on how to roleplay particular things better (including banditry) as well as it will help to challenge and develop your character. It may be completed multiple times by the same character. This will be a requirement for any character who wish to hold leadership positions of any sort in the nation, whether that be wargoth, snagagoth, kushgoth, kheshig, motsham, etc…. A lone figure traversed the path to Krugmar. A worn cloak hung down his form, protecting him in some degree from the elements. The cloak itself was aged, older than any living human. Formerly a verdant forest green color, now faded from years within the sun. The edges were frayed, stained, and burned from an assortment of encounters even the dark elf could no longer recall. His gray flesh, toned and fit, was adorned with dozens of scars from centuries of conflict. Tattoo's decorated him upon his left bicep, right pectoral, and upper back. A ferocious and jagged battleaxe hung at his side, within reach at a moment's notice. Without a care in the world, the 'ker strode into Krugmar, gripping both a letter and response. Finding the appropriate location to drop such a notice off, he did so, before departing into the wilderness once again.
