WC Delay and outcome logic

Just a request for clarification from the GM / War team. I know ****’s probably somewhat intimidating to express but, I’d like to know why the WC was delayed? There is also talk of trap removal, should you wish to divulge that info as well. Thanks.

No idea, honestly. The War Team could have just said, “the seventy-five remaining defenders, along with everyone we’re bringing back, currently hold the fort.  The twenty-five defenders have ten minutes to sally out, or they lose the warclaim.” At this point our trap had been destroyed, and only a gate stood between us and the overwhelming attackers. Only a short pause to teleport the dead attackers back, and give them gear, was needed.

As for the traps ours was clearly escapable. We had ladders leading out to the front of the trapped hallway, and I saw several attackers who were caught in the traps use them. Apparently one of the ladders was broken, but given how a GM could either place a ladder or pause the warclaim for a moment to fix the ladder, the fact that our legal trap was broken at one point shouldn’t have resulted in the entire trap being taken from us.

All in all, this could have all been solved in a small pause so the GMs could return the dead players and fix our trap. There was no need for a complete cancellation and postponement of the warclaim.

I believe the Imps are in agreement with this but I genuinely await response from the folks of the War Team. I imagine they’ll divulge when they’ve handled the gear refunds or whatever.

Imagine cancelling a warclaim because you couldn’t do your job

imagine destroying a trap mid warclaim because the staff team is too incompetent to tell the defenders before the warclaim happens

GM’s bugged out. Our trap was escapable, and we DID sally. We wrecked absolute house (bless the whirlwind, Tornado) and retook most of the fort, so why the GM’s just didn’t let the still majority attackers keep fighting escapes me, especially when our boy got banned.

The war team is weak.

The gm team is corrupt.

When are we going to get justice?

When Tornado obliterated the entire coallition gms did nothing.

Whem a chad slaughtered Empire, gms go wild on him.

Is this what we call in these days justice?

Never in the history of LOTC has the staff stopped a warclaim mid battle and declare that the warclaim was being postponed. the staff has never done anything when a hacker slaughtered dozens of people (See: flying Olog)

The fact that they did it at this particular warclaim, and combined with the staff moderating the warclaims allegiances  really makes you think about the motivations behind this.
