The third of Tobias’s Bounty, in the year of our lord 1692, shall forever be known as the day of Triumph. On this day the Emperor gave his victory address to the returning armies of the Empire.

The Emperor stood atop of a small hill as he spoke these words to the nobles, gentry and common soldiers alike. The speech was written down and sent across the Empire to be read aloud across it.

We have seen our people swear by lightning and thunder, and we have witnessed the virtuous and fragrant blood that our patriots had freely given and the shining and fluttering banners that are raised high for our majestic Fatherland.

We have seen our heroes make an army that is unstoppable, and for those who have perished for the greater good we shall build up their glory - their spirits shall ascend to immortality and forever remain within the thoughts of the living.

To your Emperor, all have sworn an oath that all men shall rise to the call in life or in death, and they have resolved that the Empire shall live, supreme, and uncontested.

My people - you are the root of the high and of the brave - you are the forum of glory and its protectors. May you live within the Fatherland in grandeur.

You have shown us pride in witnessing our children answer our call to arms so readily and eagerly. We have heard the cry of the Fatherland from the battlefields, and many answered the call! With the blood of martyrs, you have written our history and ensured that it may be read to future generations.

On my tongue and in my blood, your love for the Empire has ignited light and fire, for you are the citadel of the faithful. You have forced the world to witness that we are here perpetually to stand in shining everlasting glory.

You, my warriors, are my thoughts that illuminate the darkness that others may cross. You are one with your Emperor, our souls are joined at my will.

To Death and Glory! Hail our names! Hail Mankind!

The powerful Waldenian man known as King Jan Sigmar, a veteran and lucky survivor of Oren’s disastrous defeats at Jornheim Fields and Fort Kovakirr nearly sixty years ago now stood triumphant beside his fellow Dragon Knights, the banner of Alstreim raised high to join the victorious Imperial sigil. Ninety years a soldier, the knight stood weathered, old and bruised – but unbroken, chanting the glorious anthem of the Imperial Fatherland.

“Kaz’Ulraho delenda est,” muses King Kairn Ithelanen in the safety of his own keep, sat down upon his throne as he hears that the war is at last over after three long grueling years. He has a toast to the Kingdom of Gladewynn, the Empire of Man, and all the shining heroes who brought the war to a swift and decisive end. At the same time, however, he does mourn his men who perished and ponders whether or not there is an afterlife for the elves who perished on the fields and in the caves so far from home.

The dragon Roscoe turns up to celebrate soon after Adrian Commandant Incrediblis Thersist, who led the death-defying charge with Prince Cassius and the fellow Aeldiner Stefanos Kalofanos, retires with a sore throat. Roscoe’s voice also is a bit hoarse.
