The Knightly Order of The Red Rose, Is the official chivalric order for the Principality of Rosenyr, comprised of those who have proven themselves for the Principality and shown true bravery, courtesy, and honor. Originally formed under High Prince Loras now being reformed by Jacques Sauvageot for High Prince Louis II.

The Order Of the Red Rose fighting alongside the Rosnians during the Hundred Years War.

 

The Knightly duties are of the order is the following,

• To serve the High Prince with bravery and honor.

• To protect the people of Rosenyr, and keep the lands safe.

• To never turn down a duel of honor.

• To show true bravery, honor, and courtesy.

• To always help the less fortunate

• To uphold the laws of Rosenyr within it’s borders.

Ranks and Hierarchy

 

La Page

La page is a young boy or girl who one day wishes to become a Chevalier. A Chevalier usually takes hold of the young page, holding them into their families holdings, teaching them the ways of chivalry.

 

Le Squire

Le squire is an older boy or girl taken on by a Chevalier to train formally to properly teach them to use a blade, and teach them the ways of dueling and holding them accountable. Le squire is also taught how to properly speak to the High Prince, and those of the court, along with knowing the laws of the land.

 

Le Chevalier

Le Chevalier is a man or woman who passed the duties of squireship, or shown his noble deeds during war proving himself to the High Prince, showing bravery and honor. Once they become a Chevalier, they are recommended to take on upon a squire to begin teaching what they have learned.

 

Le Grand Chevalier

Le Grand Chevalier, is the commander of The Order of the Red Rose, and also suggests who should be given the status of a Chevalier based on their standings through chivalry. The Grand Chevalier, additionally advises the High Prince and his council on matters of chivalry.
