Racial Buffs

So me and someone else were discussing the topic of racial buffs. You know, the thing that gives certain races buffs  in PVP? With nexus on Axios, elves did more damage with arrows, golems did 4 hearts of damage, orcs get some bloodlust thing yada yada yada all in PvP.

Honestly as I see it, it would provide a great deal of balance between PvP and RP. Because lets be real, why would you RPly attack a golem that can do 4 hearts of damage if they call PVP? Same for every other race and ****.  I’ m genuinely curious and I wanna know what some people think about racial buffs.

This is almost better than sliced bread. It would balance rp and pvp. “Rpers” and “pvpers” would now try to avoid fighting stronger creatures. It makes sense a normal person wouldn’t want to fight something than can actually kill them with ease without having to worry about who clicks faster. It would bring about a more dynamic narrative, and may also help blur the lines between “rpers” and “pvpers”, henceforth creating a more wholesome community.

Mayhaps. I miss being able to tell ******* KILL as I fought my enemies on my Orc. Tho maybe nerf the damage, especially for Kha because on him I did the same as an iron sword. I intimidated someone away from banditing me because of that

I’d rather we didn’t. People can and will still assault a golem, nevermind its supposed abilities IRP or PVP.

Also remember back when everyone and their other persona was a wood elf when you could 2 shot with bows because of their buff. Tiny buffs that don’t particularly affect combat are nice and cute, like I’ve been asking for azdrazi Fire Res so they can rp in fire (no Fire Aspect on LotC, and lava traps are banned (depending on the GM you ask))

There has been 0 (zero) enjoyable warclaims that have occurred after the implementation of racial buffs. All of the memorable, great warclaims occurred when things were vanilla, and there were no buffs.
