AFTER SOME DECADES LLIRAN, WE ARE COMFORTABLY ESTABLISHED IN OUR NEW HOME

And as such, the time has come for that homeland, our blessed refuge, to be consecrated with a name befitting its majesty. Berr’lin, while an acceptable placeholder name, has outlived its usefulness to our people. At the direction of the Sohaer Dimaethor Visaj, I, Acaele Lazul along with a handful of other respected citizens have produced a shortlist of potential names for this latest settlement to be founded by the children of Larihei. As citizens, it shall be your duty to study these options provided and to mark an X next to those you deem appropriate, leaving the rest blank. You may vote for multiple names. Whichever name gathers the most support before the opening ceremonies of the renovated library will be announced during the festivities.

Uppori Visaj seemingly looked puzzled as she picked one of the options, checking it off calmly with a silver quill. “Why.. Would we wish to call our home lonely? It is brimming with life!” She commented carelessly, but placed her vote in anyways.

Cinh’llytn takes his ballot and quickly scratches down an answer, before scratching down another smaller one, with an addendum.

“The smaller x is to denote that the name in question is my second choice, but the larger X comes first.”

“As endearing a sentiment it may be to suggest naming our home after Malaurir Astoré, Haelun’or is not one person. There are other means to honour and keep the memory of him alive.” Ceruberr nods to himself before eyeing the other options. ”Hrmm, too similar to Tahn’siol. Everything is damned ‘thilln’.... I suppose that leaves..” he mutters softly to himself, flicking his quill gracefully to make a mark next to Lareh’leyu.

Whilst no one is looking, a figure in the night seemingly manages to make it into the Haelun’or library with ease. No one would have seen any peculiar figure however a cloaked figure manages to make it to the ballot box whilst the city slumbers. The figure uses a simple transfiguration spell, moving and gripping the ballot box before then using a simple bit of transmutation to break his way through. He then pulls out of his pocket, a solid 50 scraps of paper. On all of these papers would be the simple words of “Berr’lin [X]” as if a protest maybe? How strange. Aswell, deep within the box would be a simple white mask, a calling card almost that seems to snicker at those whom open up the box to see the results.

Azorella purses her lips, scrutinizing the penmanship of her dearest maln’ii bee boy. She bobs her once, deeming the ballot sufficient before gingerly striking out the options she deemed the most appropriate.

The Okarir’maehr awoke from the slumber she found herself in the midst of the renovations. She hastily scribbled down her preference and slid it into the ballot box, a curious brow flaring high when she found it overflowing with “Berr’lin”.

The Okarir’tir marked a red-inked cross in one of the given boxes with a flourish of a quill, placing his vote in amongst the others already there. He’d take no time to look over the multitude of votes, simply depositing the slip and moving off. Lareh’leyu..the elf commented to himself, as he made his way back to his office “Mm, rather fitting a name – perfectly descriptive of the place upon which we, the mali’thill, reside. Of course, some others may be appropriate options also – however I would think this to certainly be the best of the suggested.”

Seth frowns as he sees the vote, he gets a form muttering “This is the least I can do.” And without hesitation, quickly marks down his votes.

“Who actually cares what the city is called we’re just going to refer to it as Haelun’or regardless,” states one of the ballot papers. “I vote for the one without Laureh in it”

Ayliana hopes people know that Haelun’or is ontop of a mountain.
