Nozgoth 2897 Share Posted January 4, 2020 THE HEMLOCKS Seekers of Bounty along the Countryside Purpose Statement “I can take you warm, or I can take you cold.” -- Willem de Ponce, famed Bounty Hunter The purpose of the Hemlocks are to serve as a conglomeration of individual bounty hunters and contractors with the directive of providing ease of access to new contracts and opportunities from various heads of state and wealthy individuals, as well as the common man who is in need of a job taken care of. Policies “We were born in the saddle, but you will die in one!” -- Darius Ault, the Mountain that Rides The Hemlocks act as an advocate for the multitude of bounty hunters that operate within its influence. That being said, there are key principles that must be understood when working in proximity to the Hemlocks. The Hemlocks do not act as a single force. Contracts offered to the Hemlocks may be taken by any number of contractors within their numbers, and the prize split between them. There is no obligation to work on any given contract, yet all of those operating within the fold are welcome to complete it. The Hemlocks receive all offers. Completion is not guaranteed. Any offer presented to the Hemlocks will be heard and presented to the contractors at the soonest possible opportunity. Payment is only expected from completed jobs. Those who do not pay from completed jobs shall have a bounty of their own placed upon them by the Hemlocks. If a job is not completed, no payment shall be requested. The Hemlocks do not hold allegiance to any Sovereign. Though, in terms of contractual living space, they may take residency in a sovereign’s city. Otherwise, asking them to further political might, or choose a side in any conflict is disregarded. Hunters do not kill their fellow members Maiming or severely wounding companions that are apart of the Hemlocks are banned. Murdering one’s fellow member shall result in a swift termination with prejudice from the numbers and a guaranteed physical termination as well. Hunters may pursue their own contracts. These contracts shall be free of the standard commission of 15% taken from all completed contracts done through a party, so long as a brother party of the Hemlocks does not assist in the acquisition of the bounty itself or of its target. 7. Banditry is not tolerated. Slaving and other antisocial behavior is not tolerated in any case whatsoever. Contracts for the acquisition of specific peoples and repossession of specific property, however, are permitted by the discretion of the party members, depending on the circumstances presented. To add, no ransoms will be heard, and will be disregarded by the members of said party involved. Hemlocks are bounty hunters, first and foremost, and do not tolerate the use of fear tactics to further political means, or otherwise. RoamingRonin 619 Share Posted January 4, 2020 Marc of White looks upon the declaration, and saw that it was good. He nods and grunts in approval, greatly appreciating the newfound recognition. ”Hopefully, more mina comes of this. The others and I are running a little light in the pockets. We must fix that.” He twirled a knife, before walking off to find some food and a drink.
TheBelidle 65 Share Posted January 4, 2020 Jubilant Jack would grin, reading the printed paper. He sits himself down, inspecting his swords before snatching a piece of paper – writing a small letter of happiness to all of his fellow members. Propping himself onto his steed as strides down the sunset – chunks loading. “Great to see some advertisement.”
