NEW DANCE CRAZE STRIKES THE HUMAN ART COMMUNITY

THE HELENA UNIVERSITY OF ARTS BEWILDERED

What otherwise appeared to be a normal morning all across the Orenian Provinces turned into a frantic riot, upon the discovery of a new artform, which spread overnight to virtually all settlements, including Athera.

The magistrates of the Provinces were shocked to see the citizenry, all across the cities, dropping everything they were doing to dance frantically, with bundles of farming equipment, tools and baskets discarded on the ground.

The ‘Hogo Bojo’ dance seems to have gained the status of a public legend, with nearly all citizenry of the realm declaring an impromptu strike for the day, to enjoy the brainchild of Chef Hogo Bojo. State profits are expected to drop by %75 for the day, according to the estimates provided by Economical Analyst, Krystian Lles, which could have a huge impact in the development of infrastructure.

Whether this will set a worrying precedent for the serfs of the realm is unsure. The Municipal Council insiders in Reza deem the popularity of this dance as dangerous and threatening. “A commoner chef invents a dance, and suddenly we have an all out general strike in our hands? This might well snowball into an all out peasant revolt!” Would comment King Sigismund II, while his servantry dropped the food that they were in process of delivering, as they started to frantically dance.

The international response right now is unknown. We have tried to reach out to Rennard Amador on the matter, but the man was caught trying to chisel his way into the Bishopric of Ves, accompanied by shady looking men, who brandished daggers to our reporters.

THE TRUTH ABOUT “THE TEA”

It is widely known that there has been great conflicts within Sutica and other cosmopolitan nations regarding gang violence and drug crime. While the zones of production and the zones of distribution remain within lands such as these, the zones of consumption and commerce remain at lands such as Haelun’or and Oren. Within these realms, criminal syndicates are in constant infighting to dominate the zones of distribution to make most profit off of the drugs. These events might be sounding normal to the average reader, but our Sutica Correspondent, Abram Stalislena has a more grim detail to report, about the seemingly innocent newspaper dubbed “The Tea.”

Several insiders from Sutica have sent informative ledgers to our correspondent, entailing where the funds gained from the newspaper sales go towards. “What seemingly is an innocent newspaper, is apparently funding gang warfare within developing countries’” HR Representative for Oren, Grigor Maximoff comments. “Readers are tricked into thinking they’re reading an unfunny newspaper, while in fact, their coin funds weapons and equipment for child soldiers.”

Our correspondent met up with two Sutica gang members, to get a better understanding of the life on the streets, and the reality of a drug culture spiralling out of control. “It’s crazy, it’s wild.” says the black-clad dark elf towards our reporter, while pointing towards the tattoo of a cross on his forehead. “You see this cross right here? This cross means I was a murderer. This cross right here means I wasn't playing. It isn’t for decoration.“ Our reporter asked the second man, “Why is it so dangerous over here?” It seems the lanky man checked the corners of the streets, before holding his arms. “****, man, it's violent 'cos they don't wanna give me no job, you hear me? So hell, if you don't wanna give to me, and I'm trying to do the right thing, well, then I gotta go take it.” The question of who hires them seemed to strike the most towards the two men, which the first dark elf promptly answered. “We just transport illicit material towards the dead-drops. Seems boss got deal with them Orenians oop there. All them folk wear brown armbands with the symbol of a tea, and they try to get us to read their magazine, showing how that the pieces of paper are gold or sum’n. Says that these papers fund our wars and swords.”

THE ASSASSIN TROUBLES

With the recent affairs, our informants from Altar und Thron have observed how there has been a %45 rise in assassinations within the Royal City of Reza. First, it started with the death of Maer Stafyr, by an unknown assailant. Then it was the two attempts on the King’s life, from a bunch of goblins, known as the “Kub Clan”, followed closely by the deaths of the Queen-Mother, and the Knight Paramount.

While other newspapers such as the ‘Golden Crow Chronicles’ carrying out an inconclusive investigation, our reporters from Altar und Thron LTD. have managed to garner a plethora of evidence from the source of these assassinations. “While the common folk think these even’s are disconnecteh, is nie!” Says Emerich Gant, as he stares into the eyes of our reporter in a hookah lounge blankly. He follows up with a sweeping statement, that caught the eyes of the Altar und Thron upper management. “Who do ye think woul’ benefit from tha King becoming incapable, or even killed?” The man seems to lean towards the table, as if he is about to let on a secret. Looking out to both sides of the small lounge he currently occupied, Mr Gant begins to whipser; “It was a joint plan by Otto Sigmar, and Prince Nikolas. Th’plan was to either mortally incapacitate the king, or kill him outright. Think abou’ it, if the Kin’ is incapableh, then Otto Sigmar gets Regency-Eternal! And we all kno’ that he likes to exercise his dictatorial powahs, such as when he vetoed mah bills left an’ righ!”

After speaking to Karl Amador about these incidents, our reporter has cited Lord Emerich as the source of this trivial information. Unfortunately, Lord Emerich was later on found dead in his plaza within the boundaries of the Duchy of Valwyck, possibly due to his role as an informant to Altar und Thron. Lord Karl Amador repeatedly was seen with an armed party of men after the interview, going towards the Hangman’s Bridge, where Lord Emerich frequents. Karl Amador is dubbed to receive a trial for murder, and Otto Sigmar is bound to represent him for his actions against Lord Emerich.

After investigating these rumours, Altar Und Thron has been able to uncover the entire plot created by the Palatine Otto Sigmar. First, Otto Sigmar would either incapacitate the King, or kill him, in order to put Prince Nikolas in the throne. Even though the Prince is not aware of this plot to put him in the throne, mourning for his mother, and the Knight Paramount, Otto Sigmar planned to control the boy’s actions in an extended period of Regency. However, because the Palatine did not want external sources controlling the newfound monarch, Otto Sigmar orchestrated the murder of the most influential person to the Princeling; His mother. Of course, in order to access Prince Nikolas, Our Lord Palatine had to disrupt the guard force that defended the Royal Family. What better way to do this, than killing the leader of the Knights, Jonathan Frostfire? All had been done by the hand of Karl, Amador, Otto Sigmar’s henchman, according to our informant Godfric Alimar, a close confidant to the Grand Prince of Muldav.

When will the former Regent stop his ploy to garner power? It is unknown. “No…” says the poor Prince Nikolas, unaware of this grand scheme, when asked about his mother’s death. “Whoever did this, did it to hurt our family.” He said, all unawares. “My mamej was a great woman, the best to ever live in Haense!” He says with a rogue tear running on his face. Unbeknownst to him, Otto Sigmar and Karl Amador are planning to puppeteer him into an unsuccessful reign.
