garentoft 8354 Share Posted April 24, 2020 RUSLAN AND CONRAD’S FLIGHT 1st of Godfrey’s Triumph, 1765 An artist’s depiction of Conrad Barclay in the skies. What a lovely day it had been in Reza, the 1st of Godfrey’s Triumph, the beginning of a new month. Unbeknownst to most, this day would become a historic one in the history of Haense, of the Holy Orenian Empire and all of Humanity. Tirelessly, Ruslan Amador and Conrad Barclay had worked in their remote workshop beneath the Barony of Mondstadt. Humanity had conquered the land and the seas, their supremacy over this was not disputed. But the skies, in the literal sense, had so far continued to elude them. And thus came the day of the 1st of Godfrey’s Triumph, where the citizens of Reza stood stunned and marvelled at the sight of the fruits of the Amador and Barclay’s labour. From the top of Ekaterinburg had launched a most wondrous machine, capable of propelling itself through the skies with such ease that it almost seemed magical. The airship flew gently over Lake Milena, like a bird making its way due south for the winter. Though, as it came to leave the bounds of Reza, the machinery grinded to a halt, as if stopped by some mystical barrier. The airship began its rapid descent, crashing through the surface of Lake Milena. The pilot, Conrad Barclay, thankfully managed to eject himself before the crash, landing much more safely through the help of his parachute. He was quickly joined by Ruslan Amador, who was the one who had activated the launch mechanism from atop the landing platform. The two looked at each other, nodding in unison. There was still work to be done, but they would fly again.

Taketheshot 3834 Share Posted April 24, 2020 Sir Henry thinks about the possibilities. Thanic bombs dropped from high above on our enemies, a way for ISA soldiers to drop directly onto the field from the craft. The possibilities were endless ((BUT NAWWWWWWWWWW FAM! CANT HAVE GUNS! CANT HAVE GUNS MAN TOOOOOOO MODERN!))
