Riftblade 856 Popular Post Share Posted July 18, 2020 The denizens of Arcas would see a massive comet, of nigh indescribable scale, approach closer and closer with each passing moment of the sunless day. The twisted anomalies plaguing the skies have come to an end. Their reign amongst the stars concludes as the comet splits into five pieces; these five fall forth from the skies and unto the mortal plane. Massive tremors were felt all throughout the continent as two of these five entities made contact with the ground. The dust would settle eventually, letting any and all curious enough, perhaps even foolish, to discover whatever it was that decided to visit them. A tear in the fabric of reality emerges near one of these charred and warped sites. Like a crackling storm cloud, hundreds of figures pour down from from it akin to droplets of rain. Their hellish arms and armor glint in the unnatural light cast forth from their surroundings. Guttural war cries come from the maws of the unholy newcomers.
