Hey folks,

It's been somewhere around a year now that I've been Story Admin and I think it's about high time that I pass the reins off to someone else. If you run a quick /seen on me in-game, you can probably tell that I haven't been very active recently. ScreamingDingo and Squakhawk, the two Story Team managers, have been running the show for Story Team in these past two months of my activity, and I thank them for that. Besides my usual reasons of "Oh, I'm busy with school" or "I have two exams next week", I've been burnt out for a damn good while and don't have as much interest in the server as I did in the past.  Initially I planned on sticking around as admin until the start of this winter, then the new year, and then this month. I have ended up seeing the server as more of a burden than a hobby, and I'm sure that would be detrimental to how well any admin can do their duties on this server.  For that reason, it's best that someone more active than me and still has a passion for this server takes my place.

 

I'll be sticking around until a new Story Admin has been picked so the transition in leadership can be as smooth as possible. Once that's been done, I plan on stepping away from the server and taking a long break as I've been on here for close to four years now. I'd like to think that it's been a good run.

Thank you for everything you've done, we will remember it well ya chad. This sort of thing does burn you out really fast, that is for sure, so take a good break and more importantly, take care of yourself.
