nearby Carrington notices the absence of the former Arch-chancellor and the newlywed imperial couple. He'd offer a moment to the thought of whatever interactions he'd shared with either, and smile fondly.

As her dear friend Maisie passed her the letter of the dissapeared newlyweds, Annika simply shook her head. "Some people are just niet built for leadership." She sighed, clicking her tongue as she placed the letter down onto the table and replacing it with a her glass of wine. "Godan be with them." @zuziee

Upon her prolonged walk back from the Principality of Savoy, Francesca Ada Helvets's thoughts ran wild. How God had done wrong in his examples, or how God could do so right to another. Her thoughts drifted away, like how one delves into slumber. Eventually she found herself looking up at the stars. How they dazzled profoundly in the darkening night, a lightness where there was none, an enigma to the mind of a child.

"This is God's work." The youth murmured to herself, stopping in her tracks to gaze upon the vastness; everlasting and ongoing. She wondered what was far beyond, and if there was a place for someone like her, amongst all the other gleaming speckles.

Eventually the girl made her way home, weary and worn, her neck aching from having craned it so long by following the stars back to her homeland of Providence. Her eyes swayed toward the gate, and the news was like a humidity buzzing in the enclosed city. Francesca took the time to saunter toward the Basilica, the building towering over her, but she was no longer intimidated. God was a protector, and she knew well that in her prayers for Anastasia and Philip Amadeus that God would do just that for the newlyweds.

"Godspeed, Lady Anastasia. May God light your path."

“For what it’s worth... it’s never too late, or in my case too early, to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit. Start whenever you want. You can change or stay the same. There are no rules to this thing.

We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you’ve never felt before. I hope you meet people who have a different point of view.

I hope you live a life you’re proud of, and if you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start over again.” - F. Scott Fitzgerald

The Duchess of Furnestock smiled wide as she was at peace alongside her husband, sailing away to a life of happiness.

Anne of Crestfall's brow furrowed in an unusual moment of sorrow. Her lips tugged downwards and her singular gaze shifted about the lonely apartment she now held in the Augustine. A sigh escaped her as she rose from her desk, thinking to herself:

"Sometimes life thrusts duty upon ones shoulders. Those two would know, they have always suffered from it.

Without mothers to guide them, life at the Imperial Court must be hard. I do pity the Duchess, for that reason - just as much as I pity myself.

Poor Helen...

If only she was here right now, if only she could have stood by her side to support her. The same goes to Amadea -- however I did not know her well.

May they both rest in peace and may Philip and Anastasia find true happiness out somewhere else as I have done before them."

Without noticing such at first, a tear ran down the Princesses aging face. She panned her gaze over to a painting upon the wall -- the three Imperial Princesses, painted by none other than their late mother. That night, the next and the one after that, Anne Caroline dedicated her evening prayers to the freed Imperial Couple.

Elaine d'Arkent looked up to the skies to watch the stars. A heavy sigh rested on her lips, though a smile crept onto her visage.

"May you two find happiness elsewhere. I shall find comfort we will always look up to see the same stars until God brings us to his home. Farewell, Anastasia."

I understand why you have chosen to leave. You will both be dearly missed, but real life is more important than any mineman!

Do bravely.

@NectoristWe've been buds since the onset days of the Josephite mob, I'd like to say. Your dedication to RP, and fervor in fleshing meticulously-crafted narratives out is genuinely admirable, and I've always looked up to the stories you've been able to tell through your RP. Legitimately had some of the only good, engaging political RP with you, I hope you go far. Hope to see you in the next life, if we don't meet again.

@EryaneI just wanted to formally thank you for all the opportunities you'd managed to give me, while you'd been around. I wanted to thank you for managing to foster such a profoundly intimate, and passionate community of players, however small it may be, that being Dobrov. There's some more I'd like to say, but words on an LoTC forum don't amount to how much I actually do appreciate you and what you've been able to do.

But this server is forsaken, as I have said time and time again. Please make some good decisions out there: I wish nothing but the best for both of you.
