BenevolentManacles 2232 Share Posted October 3, 2021 A public letter addressed to Franz Nikolai. Mr. Franz, It is Our great displeasure to address you, for We do not generally believe you are worth addressing. In this year, the year of Our Lord, 1840, the assassins you have dispatched unto my country to stir chaos, or otherwise kill Our most loyal subjects, have humiliated themselves with failure and suicide. God is with us, and He has instilled within your men a profound allergy to success. It is Our belief that you do us a great favor. We need not hunt your incompetent assassins, the supporters of the false Adria you proclaim. Instead you send them unto Us to die, or to kill themselves in shame and humiliation. You send these innately incompetent fools to do the work of you, a coward who declares war and rescinds it through pure misinterpretation of your own ability to accomplish anything of value. Surely your masters, the lizards which you consort with, are tugging at your leash in frustration. Blessed be the Lord, for He shall judge you rightly. That We have spared so many words for a coward such as yourself is Our gracious gift. We anticipate with little care your denial of these crimes, as befit a coward. Signed, His Imperial Majesty, PHILIP II, by the grace of GOD Holy Orenian Emperor, forever August, King of Renatus, Curon, Kaedrin, Salvus, and Seventis, Defender of the Faith, Grand Duke of Ves, Duke of Helena, Novellen and Lorraine, Baron of Renzfeld, Protector of the Heartlanders, Orenian Highlanders, and Farfolk, etcetera. MailC3p 2413 Share Posted October 3, 2021 Lieutenant Arthur Komnenos of the Imperial State army chuckled as he watched the last of the failed assassins executed, their head firmly off the once lively body "quite ironic isn't it? they come here to kill yet the only deaths today are themselves!" oryP 1068 Share Posted October 3, 2021 James Madron chuckled a bit. "They were quite a weak bunch of individuals."
ErikAzog 3575 Share Posted October 3, 2021 "To think the Coward would send assassins against the Citizens of the Empire. I guess that's why he hides so well." would state the Duke of Adria, as he joined the ISA on a patrol
Malta 2811 Share Posted October 3, 2021 Julian sat quietly in the empty interrogation room, smoke still billowing from between his lips as he gazed out across the blood stained table before him. "Shame, I quite liked Greg."

GhostSHTR 1205 Share Posted October 3, 2021 “Assassins or not Franz is the true duke of Adria. It has always been elective, those sister loving orenians can spew lies all they want we all know the truth” stated a proud sedanian as he sends a gift to his friend to Duke of Adria
kuerbis 3802 Share Posted October 3, 2021 Upon seeing the sketch, Anne Caroline screamed bloody murder; "THAT! THIS ONE!" she pointed to the man on the far right. "He is the one that shot at me, it is him!" she held the sketch right under her father's nose, still terribly distraught by what has happened. JoanOfArc 4604 Share Posted October 3, 2021 Duke Franz Nikolai had never seen the men and probably never will. He just got back from helping his daughter, the Princess of Merryweather, moving in with her husband. After he saw a post claiming that he tried to assassinate the Emperor of Oren (a quite frankly impossible task for the moron), he claimed responsibility nonetheless, for the Glory of the Raev. "Wh-- Why yes, I did try to assassinate the Emperor! How could you tell?"
Guzr 2050 Share Posted October 3, 2021 "No Duke of Adria would send assassins, to be Adrian is to be honorable." Said Holy Sir Edwin de Sarkozy. "However, no Duke of Adria sits within Oren either."
MapleSunflower 1889 Share Posted October 3, 2021 Primrose Gendik read the missive, giving a firm nod followed by a smirk. "Wonderful work being done in the ISA lately..." She would set the paper aside, going to put a pot of water over the fire to boil. "Let them burn to the ground. Perish in the darkness of the Void." The woman said with a final sigh, turning on her heel to set up a few cups of tea.

grnappa 1230 Share Posted October 3, 2021 Count Erik Othaman compiled all the evidence together in a neat pile before storing it away in the 4th Brigade archives. He noted to himself that these men tried to flee their grasp twice, only to all be recaptured. "Vy would think these fools would learn after getting slapped silly so many times, eh?" He'd comment to his Lieutenant @XOCO

amyselia 2962 Share Posted October 3, 2021 The Viscountess Provins sends a letter out to her mother-in-law after having heard of the attempt against her life, a lock of mule's hair kept within. It would read simply: Chère maman, Enclosed is the cumulative intelligence of this season's assassins for your highness' pleasure. I'm quite anxious for the next! À plus! - Claude. @Fie
