The Job of a Clerk

The job of a clerk is to sell houses, show new residences or visitors around the city, repair damage to the city, manage the nation's taxes and approve any major or minor alterations to the look or design of new providence and its surrounding areas.

 

Things we look for in Clerks

Every clerk is expected to be on their best behavior and try to help out whenever they can. The main purpose of the clerk's office is to sell properties however that does not make it their most important task. No, a clerk is meant to be a guiding hand to both visitors and residents of new providence as well as its surrounding regions. 

 

Duties of the Head/Deputy Clerk

 

Approve any major or minor alterations to the city and its surrounding areas

Help any clerks when they ask for assistance

Manage the nation’s taxes

Hire and train new clerks

Updates from the clerk’s office

 

After 80 of service to the clerk’s office Jakob Castington, Will be retiring however his good work has not gone unnoticed. For his work with the city, he will be given a small pension of one hundred and fifty imperial marks and receive a service award signed by the Head Clerk. We thank you for your service Mr. Jakob Castington.

 

Hiring

The Clerks office is currently hiring, to apply please seek out Sir Jarad Munnel or Rainalyn Draskovic. No experience is needed, tho experienced people as welcome as well.

Eris Castington (formerly Castington-Galbraith) adored her father and was proud of him for serving the clerks for 80 years, she found him, poking his shoulder with a smile. Though considerably older and now always dressed in black, Eris gave a light smile to her father @Oh_Ontario "Papa, you must be tired by now."

Edvard would look at his wife Freya and back at Edith "Poor man, clearly not one to become a Prince, nor one with honor if he kidnapped his own children"
