ORIGIN   A wandering monk once came upon a large field of bones; a graveyard made for giant creatures that he could not discern. In pity of their derelict state, and without a proper burial, he turned to the hills. He sat down for many years, and carved the hills – it started with small indents into the faces of the rocks. The wayfaring monk would return and carve his adventures and tales into the sides of the rock, and clipped away all moss that infested its image so others could read. This unknown and ageless monk continued his service to the hills, and would then leave them all to dry out – the continent was starved of any descendants, driven out by the fierce legions that consumed the ever-black. In his entirety, the monk shaped four hills, and all were distinguishable in appearance, yet held similarities to them. He would name them accordingly, to ensure they were fit for purpose. Slowly, the monk dragged bones one-by-one on top of these hills, and let them rest nearest to the clouds, in hopes of letting their souls flutter into the heavens. Throughout the years, many other monks copied his style, and thus the Lording Graves were made. However, this life-long process was soon abandoned, and now only remnants of these hills remained – daunting reminders of one's conviction, and also an easy bait against farseers who believe these hills to be sentient, which they are not.

RED  A hill that is red in hue. It has numerous green outlinings within its shell, likely moss and other flora that are currently unknown. Large porcine bones lay scattered on top of the shell, reminiscent of a graveyard. It has no visible face outside of the carved out indentations on both shorter hedges of the hill, and thus means it has no true front and is able to be seen forward in both directions. This hill is as tall as 150 metres.  A cluster of vines and branches make it easier for one to walk up onto the hill, but it does slope outwards quite harshly near the four legs. These hills are usually found in greenlands.

BLUE  A hill that is blue in hue. It has numerous gold outlinings within its shell, likely gold ore and other jewels that are currently unknown. Large porcine bones lay scattered on top of the shell, reminiscent of a graveyard. It has no visible face outside of the carved out indentations on both shorter hedges of the hill, and thus means it has no true front and is able to be seen forward in both directions. This hill is as tall as 150 metres.  Water seems to escape the holes upon its legs, and thus makes it harder to clamber on top of without any grip or support. These hills are usually found near large bodies of water.

BLACK A hill that is black in hue. It has charred-black outlining within its shell, likely coal and ash. Large porcine bones lay scattered on top of the shell, reminiscent of a graveyard. It has no visible face outside of the carved out indentations on both shorter hedges of the hill, and thus means it has no true front and is able to be seen forward in both directions. This hill is as tall as 150 metres. Usually, a tinge of pastel-orange can be seen flaring out from within the indentations on the murals of the hill, and it is scalding-hot, thus making it impractical to walk on without burning. These hills are usually found in volcanic landscapes.

ROCK  A hill that is extremely rocky. Unlike the other hills that are found, it seems to bear no prevalent shell besides a cluster of rocks, torn and ripped apart to make an imperfect shape – it lacks murals and is incomplete, likely having been abandoned by the monk who worked on it. A storyless hill with nothing important, and the only thing that keeps it similar to the other Lording Graves are the four legs, which seem almost the same. This hill can vary in size, and is usually as tall as 150 metres. These hills are easy to climb on, due to the numerous ridges and crevices for one to place their feet into. These hills are usually found in rocky mountainsides.

These hills can vary in shape and design, and the above are simply images that I stole from final fantasy. Please do not be discouraged (ST) to make something more crazy in shape and size, but ensure it does not exceed over 300 metres.

These hills are carved with murals that tell stories; these stories can be as random as they come – usually each is linked back towards one of the monks that crafted it. Though the nature of how these large hills were crafted are unknown, either through magic or by-hand over hundreds of years by immortals, it is assumed that these hills were sitting in place to commemorate the resting place for numerous creatures in wildlife. On top of these hills, it is laden with bones from all varieties of fauna; an odd deer, to a large or legendary creature. However, finding these hills have become a rarity, as a lot of them have blended into their natural environment after hundreds of years of being left alone. One of the distinguishable features about the Lording Graves are their legs, which almost makes them seem like they are alive. They are usually seen standing, but these are simply just archways that have more flora and fauna underneath (or whatever else is kept underneath). It is said these hills are found on islands cast away from descendant-societies, as they are known for being prolific eco-terrorists, something which the monks tried to avoid in order to maintain their masterpieces. For the sake of lore tribulations, these monks are unknown. It is unknown who these monks are that began carving out these hills – they could simply be timeless elves that put their lives into chipping away at rocks, or great mages that came together and molded the earth. It could even be the GODS themselves that set up these large hills, to be found by the dying, who wish to rest somewhere memorable.    Spoiler This lore has been written for the purpose of bringing more variety to landscapes, and more locations for events.
