County of Jerovitz, Haense Many years have passed since Jerovitz was constructed by the first Count, Jan Otto Kortrevich. It was first constructed after the Siege of Krusev, leaving the seat of the house in ruins. Quickly, those of the House moved to rebuild, coming back stronger than before. After the death of Jan Otto, the empty keep had found itself quiet and stagnant, collecting dust as the children were off doing their own things. Upon the succession of Nikolai Mikhail Kortrevich, the house had been demoted back to a Viscounty in hopes that the house would once more rise to their former greatness to regain what had been lost. After many years of hard work, the comital titles were once more restored to the family and with this new era came a new keep to hold the growing, hardworking house The Keep Named after the Queen Mother, Emma of Jerovitz, youngest sister of the first count Jan Otto Kortrevich, ‘Karov’ is the new home for the members of House Kortrevich.. Upon stepping up to the gates of the keep, you will be greeted with the courtyards and a bridge that overlooks the entrance and over the land. Pressed within the walls of the courtyard is the Blacksmith. A place to be used by the family who might have such an interest, forging blades for personal use or business. Dedicated to Count Nikolai’s eldest son Anton Otto Kortrevich As you ascend the steps to the main keep, you will be greeted with the statues of the house leaders of years past. Starting from Otto to Vladrik Otto Kortrevich as well as some empty spaces for those to come. In front of it stands an outdoor bar. A small tavern owned by Viktor Mondblume, where drinks saved for only the finest events and guests will be stored.. After finally entering the south halls of Karov, one will find themselves within the event halls. A place for announcements that connects to a (Blank) seated dining hall fit for any event. Under the dining hall however sits plenty of other amenities such as the Kitchen, the Library, the Alchemy Lab, The hoonseti club house for the future and those to come, and an aviary that sits high within one of the towers. All residents of the land, Kortrevich or not, will have access to this end of the keep and the amenities within Spoiler Behind the Matriarch and Patriarch seats within the dining hall sits the bridge that leads to the northern wing of the keep. Set up with plenty of rooms for not only those of the house, but any wards or workers one might take on. The Church Of Jerovitz With the new keep also comes the reconstruction of the Church of Jerovitz, still dedicated to the Venerable Dame Primrose Kortrevich. The capacity has been increased to comfortably hold members of the family as well as the community. Underneath the church sits the new crypts, large enough to hold all past lords and ladies and those who wish to be laid to rest there in the future. The Farms of Jerovitz On the outskirts of Karov, nestled along the path towards the keep and within the farms sit three beautiful homes as well as a public tavern. Here small events such as tavern nights will be held by the County or those of the community for the public to enjoy. The farms of Jerovitz is filled with a variety of product - Offering a lovely harvest each season with something new that is not only used to provide for the residents of Jerovitz but are also used to make the food and drinks that fill the shelves of the Kortrevich businesses not only in Karosgrad but in other various parts of the realm as well. The Future Despite reclaiming the title of the County of Jerovitz, those of the House Kortrevich still seek to work diligently in hopes that their strength will continue to grow to allow them more opportunities to serve their community and bring pride to their nation. “With Duty, Comes Honour” Spoiler Thank you to everyone who has been kind to us over the past couple of months and offered us help! I personally would love to also thank everyone in the house who has been part of it and helped out since I joined the family myself to everyone who has joined recently or plans to. I also would love to thank @dove who has worked to improve the house since the moment they married in, and even now continues to plan for ways to see us grow in the future. I would also love to thank Wonk, @MissToni, @crazedpudding, and 0zark, and anyone else who I missed that helped build this wonderful keep and all around it. There is so much beautiful detail and everything that we and the others wanted was not only implemented but also done quickly, efficiently, and is just one of the best builds I have ever seen on the server. We hope that we utilize it as it should be, and that we will continue to honor the work you all have done with wonderful rp and a safe space for others to be. Another thank you to @SaviourMeme for all the wonderful cinematic shots I used for this post! I wanted to give some of the other players time to settle in before this post went up..
