Can we just get confirmation on the items and minas. Why should there be a limit? I agree that items can't be taken but you may only transfer what's in yer inventory. Minas should defiantly be carried because those are our hard earned.

A good idea might would be to limit your belongings to your inventory, if there are more serious players they will anyhow bring personal belongings more than just building materials.

Skills could of course be brought with you, but I think there might be useless weeks for those who want the RP if many players start to try to level their skills now? but still, thats just a thought :)

Ive had a random idea in the new world: Some of the archecture should be half built when you arrive... With like scaffolding and stuff around it... And as time goes you get to see these buildings change and develop adding to the sense of the world

do it again? you started equal to everyone at one time and shown yourself better at gaining wealth, you now have 'life experience" if you will, surely there is nothing stopping you from employing your tricks of the trade and doing it again? Also a larger player base will mean more people to rip off/sell items to/barter with/ or what ever you do for your minas.

I have just noticed that bringing nothing with you when moving is dumb and unrealistic. Would you really bring NOTHING? I don't think so. You would (IRL) most deffinately bring a survival kit, some food, weapons and money. Oh, there is a minas cap! Great! So, you are this rich person that has been carrying 500000000 minas around every day, IN YOUR DAMN POCKETS. But now when you most need them you only bring 10k. Yeah we didn't have banks in RP because they just weren't viable with the plug-in we had. People would've definitely used them if you want to get "realistic" about it.

As for items, whos to say our boats are PACKED with people because we could only build a handful of vessles to escape on?

You need to approach things in away that allows for variables, instead of trying to belittle others who you believe to be wrong or "dumb"

Personally I'd prefer to have the change of worlds come without any announcement, and with people literally having the clothes on their backs and whatever they were carrying when they last logged out.

Because, y'know, the apocalypse will not be announced. And it will not be gradual.

Or maybe it could be gradual. Have an announcement coming up saying that [whatever] is going on and various plans are in progress to evacuate the continent.

Say, over two days. Gives a good chance for people to log on and find out what's going on, and prepare. At the extreme, have people make their way to a boat, only to get told that it's full up.

OH! HAVE THE MONEY TAKEN, AS BRIBES/BOARDING FEES TO BE ALLOWED ONTO THE BOATS/AIRSHIPS!

I never said anyone was dumb, I said it would be dumb of someone to bring nothing to a new continent IRL. I am not hating, I am just pointing out. I get it now for the banks, but still, there WERE no banks, so it still makes no sense, even if you wanted to have a different plugin. It would be really hard to RP ignore it. Erhm... If you role play your character well, I for sure don't think that you carry all your minas on you all the time, even if you OOC do that as its hard to bank your money with stable plug-ins. So Im not to sure that you could "carry" all that money over. As for IC banks, of course there would be such if someone were willing to spend 24/7 online as a banker (would be really! cool)

Still, If you now are a better player than most others, and spends a lot of time online here, you will soon have rebuilt your characters life anyhow.

The amount of thing you are able to bring over should maybe be limited by the way we're getting transferred as suggested by shift.

If your character are this simple minded, he doesn't seem much to RP with Busenki ;) it´s good to have the opportunity to choose options :)
