After her own wedding, Alyona Godunov had been whisked around the continent of Georgia on a never-ending journey of diplomacy. Yet as she pondered on news of her own in her dwelling, an invite arrived. With her paper knife did she slice the envelope open and read aloud the contents: "The Baron of Rostig and the young Lady Katia Godunov..." The baroness put the parchment to her chest with an exhale, for she didn't need to bother reading further. Finally, she thought. Finally.
