In contemplating the effects of the constellations, we can draw a parallel to the gentle flickering of a flame. Just as the flame emanates a subtle, mesmerizing energy that illuminates its surroundings, the constellations, with their celestial radiance, exude a captivating influence on the tapestry of our lives. While the flame may seem delicate, its presence is undeniable, casting intricate patterns of light and shadow that evoke a sense of wonder. Similarly, the constellations, in their celestial dance, bestow upon us a cosmic energy that weaves its way into the fabric of our existence. They guide our paths, casting their celestial light upon our endeavors and shaping the outcomes of them. CONSTELLATION SEASONS

The constellation seasons reveal a captivating interplay between the celestial alignments and the events that shape our existence. Through scientific inquiry and meticulous observation, we gain a deeper understanding of the cosmic energies at play, allowing us to unlock extraordinary knowledge and navigate the currents of fate with wisdom and purpose. I have coined these constellations which exert undeniable control over our lives as Celestial Seasons, with each one lasting roughly three years in a repetitive cycle. And now, I will detail the intricacies of the Celestial Seasons that lie ahead.

REVELRY

Season of the Mettabelou

A large bird often found within the gardens of Talar’nor, the mettabelou is named after its distinctive pink color. A lively, friendly being, the flamingo is representative of many different things, but primarily revelry and celebration. The mettabelou constellation is most easily discernible by the cluster of stars upon its head, with other stars spread throughout the rest of its body. The southernmost star is one which shines the most bright upon a dark night, showing how joy is never too far away. Common patterns during this season include festivals, parades, and various games that take place beneath the celestial stars above.

PERFORMANCE

Season of the Faesu

 

Like the elegance and fervor of the noble steed, this season arrives with much anticipated positivity. Most commonly referred to as the season of ‘Performance’, splayed upon the starry scape this constellation brings warm and prosperous tidings throughout the land. Many who seek profession in the arts see a boost in such aforementioned prosperity during this time. The streets and square burst even further into life; Cultural progression tends to skyrocket, and the air is filled with hope. The transition into this season brings upon many different developments in the arts, music, and sciences which tend to lead to changes in the very lives that many live.

ABUNDANCE

Season of the Avern’ii

The avern’ii, nicknamed due to its nature of wandering into unknown parts of the land, covering the entirety of Aevos, is well-known for its unpredictable nature and inclination towards luck. The avern’ii constellation can be identified by the large, spread-out clusters of stars which appear in the sky. There are two particularly bright stars within the eyes of the rabbit, which, when viewed within the sky, are very easily recognizable. However, as opposed to the vuln mentioned later, the avern’ii holds a cluster of stars near its paws and ears, differentiating the two easily. The constellation season of abundance is marked by good fortune, primarily within the trades. Much like the rabbit, luck is plentiful during this season when it comes to the harvesting, crafting, and selling of goods to the people of Aevos.

MISCHIEF

Season of the Vuln

 

An ever-elusive fox, the vuln is known for its stealthy and silent hunting patterns. Often using the element of anticipation to drive its prey from their hiding spot. It is certainly one of the more conniving of creatures in the Canidae family. Bright orbs illuminate the sky in place of its watchful eyes, surrounded by a sequence of a much dimmer frame - often hard to spot with the naked eye alone. The constellation, like its canine counterpart stalks and prowls the night sky, ever-observant. Despite the season’s daunting name ‘Mischief’, what follows feels subsequently the opposite. When the fox splays its ever-luminescent eyes upon the starry scape, those orbs signify a looming time of distrust, and uncertainty. Doubt and a thick smog of anticipation cloud the air, and neighbors rest weary eyes upon one another. A time of stagnant dread follows the ever-watching, silent fox.

VIOLENCE

Season of the Hyon’kah

 

A famed Talarian fowl, the hyon’kah, nicknamed for its notable sound, is a bird with a tumultuous nature and violent predisposition. Seen in the sky, it is easy to identify this constellation by the distinct square of brightly illuminated stars upon the eye, the talon, and the two wings. In similarity to the goose itself, this constellation season is marred by fits of violence, destruction, and chaos. Events that take place during this time include various wars, and fights between rivals. However, happenings within this period of time are not all bad. With increased violence, there tends to be higher yields in hunting trips, better effectiveness in guard training, and overall increases in military strength and numbers. The season, much like the fowl, is a double edged sword of prosperity and ruin.

GENEROSITY

Season of the Lentisae’ir

A kind fellow, the lentisae’ir, more commonly known as the bee, is a giving, gracious creature. Buzzing about throughout the flowers, spreading its pollen to promote growth, the lentisae’ir is known within Talar’nor as the reason for the vast expanses of flowered fields. The constellation is identified with the least amount of visible stars, with a small cluster in the middle of the constellation upon the bee’s face and stinger. The reasoning for attributing the bee to this constellation is due to their similarities. With the bee spreading joy and generosity, it must make sacrifices in the process. Thus, both the bee and the constellation lack what they give to others. Both the constellation and the lentisae’ir have a nature of giving, marked by kindness and gratitude.
