Results of the Moot

To the Followers of Fnod’s Way,

 

A God’s Day has passed since the gathering of the Skanarri people within the sacred Highlands. A Moot was held by those present, hosted and overseen by Halfdan Stálstígvél who blessed the event in the sight of the Alfaðir and the Gods. The assembly of Skanarri was asked to put forth names, three of whom were nominated.

 

Once three candidates had been selected, the assembly of Skanarri was to choose between a Blood Moot or a Vocal Moot. Seeking to appease Bjorn the Berzerker, God of War, the assembly settled upon the more common Blood Moot. After a vicious three-way battle between the candidates, only one emerged victorious; Sindri Adalsteinn. Upon his victory, Sindri was anointed by the present High Priest and declared the Chieftain of the Skanarri, Inheritor of the Prophets, and the leader of the True Highlanders.

 

Let all followers of Fnod’s Way rejoice and all enemies of the Skanarri shake in their boots, for no longer will the Skanarri be divided by bitter internal squabbles. The Age of Humiliation ends today.
