"Perhaps even less than a day," remarked Renilde, her hands still bloodied from holding her son's disembodied head from the root of his hair.

"More like a quarter of a day," Laena of Astor noted, tossing away the missive to continue her FreyFit routine.

“Ave Petra, Ave Adalia.” The Devoted Dame Monika chanted as she witnessed the head roll, a hand on her niece’s back to comfort her.

"You hear that?" spurned one, watching the other's worries

dissolve into less as the chanting echoes across the distant

city.

Aimo grinned upon reading the official statement, proud of the action and decisions throughout the moments of the fight which allowed this to come to fruition. "A traitor's death for a traitor, ignoble and quick. Good thinking as well by Rowena, allowing the church to handle his remains was the right choice."

The aged Waldenian knight Sir Konstantin stood within the square of Vallagne, having aided in the apprehension of the would-be usurper from Enswerp. Watching as the crowd of Petrans meted out their justice upon the man, he knew then that the decision of the Astorans, Theonus, and hired swords had been right. "No half measures, Sir Aimo." (@ColdestPepsi) He said to his old comrade, a line often repeated in years past.

Artel stands within the square, his hands still shaking from the battle he had fought, the blood of those he fell once more staining his blue cloak. a smile crawls across the old mans face as he watches the traitor finally be put to the sword, leading and joining into the cheers that follow as the scum who dared disrespect his kin meets his end.

The young Master at arms removes a mina from his war map as his green eyes scan the missive, he had known this pretender but he was glad he was dead and even more glad that the rebels who would disrespect both crowns had been taught the first lesson's. That night Artair would be sure to find his friends to share the news.

"He was right infront of me two saint hours ago.

The hell are the Petrine forces on to be this ******* fast? Krugamine?"

A Daelish Templar questioned, smoking on his pipe as he read the news, having stolen drugs from a maternal figure in his life in Numenost.

Aurel von Theonus let out a soft sigh after returning to Vallagne. "A success," he said to no one in particular. "But was this the right choice? Could we have resolved this with diplomacy, instead of with the blade?" such a thought weighed heavily on the Duke though he knew he couldn't let this feeling linger. There were preparations to be made and he'd see to those himself.

Katrin Stafyr approached the city on horseback, having returned from her pilgrimage to various holy sites within the realms. As the fleeing Marnans passed the Baroness could hear the racket from afar. Katrin passed the gates and cautiously approached the noise, only stopping at the edge of the Main square.

The Petran forces stood around a dead to her knowledge disinherited Paul. "What in Godans name happened while I was gone?" she murmured to herself

"Asbjorn, you son of a *****. You didn't even give me so much as a letter?" Margrave Jose Fuentes smiled from afar, knowing his teacher would be doing great tasks.
