Georgie reads the declaration, shaking his head. "The royal family of Aaun have lost their divine right. They denied their crime at first, now they justify it."

"Not very lady-like of her." Beówulf mused with a pout to Conan-Thegn, reading the missive by the fire. @M1919

Niphredil contemplates a similar fate upon which will befall upon Beowulf and Conan before speaking her thoughts aloud."The stench of a corpse permeates within the air from the moment the heart ceases a singular pulse, in its first stages it is faint and dismissive. However with how the body was found and there being gapes within the walls including windows, you could lead a blind person to the corpse by having him follow the smell alone. What makes death cruel is that the scent lingers, despite cleaning and removal. Such a thing is unforgettable, such a crime unforgiveable." The druii commented, her hand stroking her amassed horde of ferrets as she laid upon a fur rug by the fireplace.

Up on the battlements of Whitespire, Private Baldrick shivered from the cold. Or was it just a creepy aura blowing in from the north?

A horned child named Eilistraee stared from below the battlements of Whitespire, her red eyes staring up towards the man who seemed to be speaking and taking to himself while pacing around."Don't jump Mister Soldier! Wars not even started yet!" she said shouting at the man who appeared to look like he was having a psychotic episode.

And thus - Bon'Ox lost any respect he had for the royalty of Aaun, his brow furrowing.
While he didn't think them to be completly innocent - he at least felt like they were forced to some of their actions to not be coup'd by the others within the family.. at least he had thought so, so far.

The goblin then taps a part in the missive..

His foolhardy and anti-Petran gambit, chirped along with Tiberius van Aert and the Ferrymen, failed miserably. Thus, James Whitespire vanished into irrelevance.

"Huh - well iziz did ahn zhit job at dat. Da Brigade ob Marna wuz allowed to exizt agh now doez part ob izi are part ob Aaunic Goverment." he mumbles to himself before going back to not thinking about the scuffle between humans.

Private Baldrick looks upon the Queen with a newfound appreciation for her insurmountable aura.

Somewhere, a frost witch gets a feeling about a very loyal, very willing, thrall. One that would be ready to glaze over women at any point in time.

"More tongue twisting from the pinkies, Grommash was clearly right about these gits." Gundanat sat up, reading over while he recovered from cowpox. "Absolutely insane they're admitting to exactly what the church are accusing...? Even I'm not that insane."

"This woman calls herself a consort like some useless housewife but wants us to believe she killed someone?" Lucia laughed audibly in the barracks, where she was reading such foolishness. "The only thing she might have killed is their courts!"

"So the King of Aaun had his wife kill his brother for him? Not only is he a kinslayer, he is a coward as well. He may not have held the sword but surely he gave the word. The crown is corrupted by murderers and sinners." Exclaims Adriel, hearing of the Aaunites confessing to their crimes.

Once upon a time, many years ago, a young Jadwiga Jazlowiecki performed a puppet show just beyond the walls of Whitespire. The Dragon of Aaun, made of purple felt and crafted with child's careful but haphazard stitches, did battle against a wooden Richard Stassion, who ended the play with his painted head popped from his puppet's shoulders.

It was difficult for Princess Adalfriede to imagine that child's hands driving a blade into a man's flesh again and again, but all things ripened with age, and thirty years was more than long enough to strip a young girl-turned-queen of her childhood innocence. She folded the Queen's confession into a neat little square and placed it on top of the rest of the documents relating to this twisting, turning conflict.

Narithen Uialben squinted at the missive, tutting.

"Hedwig? Wasn't that the little girl from that daycare?" He questions the air. "Poor thing's had a hard life since then."

"They actually did it together. The King struck just as well as the Queen. And I was the only one arguing to have the beasts apprehended in name of our good King." Said a disgruntled footman who had been witness to the crime.
