Issued by the

LADY PALATINE

Naf zwy 20th hag i Msitza ag Dargund i549 E.S.

THE BOYAR COUNCIL OF THE AULIC CHAMBER have acted as advisers to the Crown and its governing body for centuries–appointed members who serve the Aulic Council at the desire of both the monarch and the Palatine. Unlike members who bear the titles of Treasurer or Emissar or Marshal, these individuals provide their opinions and thoughts on a wide array of matters important to the kingdom and its administration. Established by King Josef I and formalized by King Sigismund III, the Boyars are some of the realm’s most admired figures and deemed to be great servants to the Haeseni people.

In an effort to bring the Boyar Council into a more modern age, the Galahar Administration seeks to define these advisory seats and designating who exactly might be permitted to sit upon them. The reform is outlined as follows:

◆ ONE SEAT is given to the Grand Prince or Grand Princess of Kusoraev, in an effort to provide the heir to the throne with a more hands-on involvement and education in royal governance. Until such a time that the heir reaches their majority of 16 years, the seat shall remain empty and held by the Crown.

◆ FOUR SEATS are given to individuals deemed trusted by the monarch and the Aulic Council. These individuals can be of either noble or common birth.

It is noted that, unlike other members of the Aulic Council, Boyars may not employ a deputy or form an office. They likewise are not allowed to send proxy representatives when they’re unable to attend meetings of the council. This is to emphasize that the individuals chosen are sought for their own wisdom.

The hope of the Lady Palatine and her administration is that this reform will ensure that those who hold these privileged roles are individuals who are thought of in high regard by the Haeseni people, that she and future Lords Palatine are advised by only the very best that Hanseti-Ruska has to offer.

Thus, the following individuals are appointed to the four seats of this Boyar Council:

LORD ERIK KORTREVICH, COUNT OF JEROVITZ ( @erictafoya )

LADY ADELINA VAN LEUVEN, BARONESS OF FURENTALIZ   ( @Dramatude )

LORD SIGMAR VAR RUTHERN ( @Terry )
LORD STANISLAV VAR RUTHERN  ( @frankdh )
