What is there to say? Pilums ******* suck now because of positioning and realistic combat strategy hard countered all the dark elf cold steel anime swordsmen and generic canonist deus vult knight number 8273297

Bow and arrows also suck because who would have guessed having a ranged option is better than a sword? Again I feel like this game wants to lean toward realism, but when the realistic tactics begin to counter hard simply charging with a sword out, they get nerfed.

Lastly, why in God's name do we have goblin stomper mechs, mechanized dragons, and machine priests, but we can't have a slow-to-fire, shitty flintlock for style points?

Listen, man, it totally makes sense that if you use a short bow while on horseback, you can't move at all. Trust me, the CRP rules and tech locks are perfect and completely logical. Just look at half plate it's great that it counts as heavy armor for CRP. Please continue making changes like this to the CRP rulings like this, for it shall only make CRP more enjoyable and reduce the people calling for defaulting to PvP.

Do not worry - the weakest persona's can wear heavy armor but not medium armor - please do not question this and by the way you can never change the techlock and we will not update lore to match the techlock

 

 

I feel like the revised techlock was well intended but just missed a lot - potions being thrown weapons is a mod ruling I think and not a actual rule and half plate (the prior "weaker" armor in old techlock) being heavy armor just feels bleh - Scions do not have "some Voidal Poisoning" if they get heavy armor. Plate/Half Plate/Brigadine is all different appearances of heavy armor, why does it matter what vibe someone takes? But yea no changes to it + no effort to match lore to techlock terms, but the techlock must define magic redlines guys!

Weapons will get buffed when players can be trusted not to be dumb with them. Same goes for every lorepiece. These things get nerfed bc people are stupid with them.
