There’s holidays, finals, and more holidays to go through, so we’re doing a single update for November/December since that’s when we could shove a full mod meeting in between everything. Announcements LWC Groups w/ Worldguard Integration (Lock Groups) Spoiler So I found a single, buried reddit comment mentioning this function and @Llir and I spent a bit finding the 3-4 lines of modder patch notes that describe it, but we were able to turn on the ability for everyone to use regions as lock access lists in a similar fashion to adding players. /cmodify r:RegionName ex. /cmodify r:numendil_capital This will allow you to add and remove access to locks as players are added and removed from whichever region is modified to a lock (as well as whichever regions are parents of the region used). Moderation will also be facilitating the creation of a new locks category of regions. Nation Leaders and Vassal PROs can /modreq to have unattached regions made for the sole purpose of having lock groups to help with nation running (ie. guard, council, royalty groups). Until our fine tech folks make a proper GUI to better automate the features of this particular system, everyone will be able to use regions with their locks, but we won’t be making lock regions beyond those requested from NLs and Vassal PROs for the sake of organization and team bandwidth. War Pause Update Spoiler As we work on implementing a number of changes and get closer to the usual Christmas Truce time anyway, it seems like it’ll be January when things are done. Another post will come out then detailing all of the changes and the announcement of war being unpaused. Rule Changes None. November/December Mod Meeting Spoiler Stuff from Josh Foundations for 2025 We’re going to be using the war pause and the usual Christmas break truce to finish war for release in the new year. We’re going to schedule a meeting, or several, to do a full review of the rules and systems under our purview with the aim of developing projects to pursue State of the Team I’m going to schedule 1 on 1’s with everyone to chat about thoughts on the state of the team and what we need to be working on. Forum Rule Changes: A review of forum rules and proposals for admin consideration given discussions. Naval Warfare (Early Stages): System for naval effects, battles, and movement of armies. Warzones (Early Stages): Offering an optional addition to wars to have sides set up pvp zones to fight outside of warclaims and raids. Precedents Spoiler Inventories/items of banned players may not be transferred to others or otherwise redistributed. Afterword As always, the rules of the server stand as both reference and guideline for how we should proceed, but they’re also flexible and should adapt with the times and what’s available to us so we might provide the fairest, safest experience we can. Things can be changed, and it’s your help and feedback that lets us know how we can change things for the better.
