In accordance with the line of succession, the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska and Aevos as a whole will witness the ascension of Prince Joren Manfred and Princess Nadya Heloise to the throne. In doing so, they will be coronated per ancient Haeseni tradition to become rulers worthy of their people. The ceremony will commence in New Valdev’s Royal Duma Hall, wherein the ascending King of Hanseti-Ruska will open a session of the Royal Duma through prayer with the Lord Palatine. Following both prayers spoken, the King shall undertake vows before the Boyars and welcome attendees, to both uphold the Prophets’ tenants and protection of the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska. All Boyars and welcome attendees will observe the most critical moment after the oath, where the Lord Speaker will pierce the King’s nipple and then conclude the Duma Hall’s session with the investiture of the royal offices, revealing the different relics of the King’s forebears and the burdens they incur. After the endowment within the Duma Hall, the King and procession shall move onto the Basilica of Saint Joren and the Broken Chains. In the Basilica, traditional Liturgy and Mass will be held by His Eminence, the Patriarch of Jorenus. With a new sovereign comes a new consort; thus the King shall have the honor of presenting the Queen’s crown to his Consort and vesting her as the Queen-consort of Hanseti-Ruska. As the final ceremony of the King and Queen, all parties gathered will proceed to Castle Lesanov after the King, the Queen, and the Patriarch of Jorenus. The King shall give an address to the people of his kingdom and beyond before sitting upon the Cometborn Throne with the Queen at his side. Once their Royal Majesties are seated, all vassals of the Haeseni realm must stand before the throne with their chosen representative and renew fealty to the Crown in order of rank. Any gifts dedicated to the Crown from its vassals should be set aside before fealty is given or vassals and their representatives wait until after. With every vassal’s renewed fealty known before the realms, the King and Queen shall then invite all foreign and domestic parties to make petitions to the new sovereign and consort. Every petitioner should wait in an orderly fashion and shall be announced by the Royal Herald upon making themselves known.
