-Syrila walks the forests of Malinor, jumping gracefully as she jumps to the top of the Messageboard with ease, crossing her legs and sitting down on the ledge. Her voice seems soft, but serious, her armor is that of the Black Cross. She lets her voice boom out, letting all of Malinor hear her-

Who are we? What are we? What is our goal?

These three questions plague my mind as a race, and also as a denizen of Aegis

To me, I am a fighter, a survivor an overall product of darkness that transformed herself to light

But no longer do I ask myself

Who are you?

When you walk these forests, what do you see yourself as?

What do you see your future if we allow each other to rip each other apart

Bit by bit were consumed by internal conflict.

Darkness consumes the land we worked so hard to defend

Now I ask you all

Do you want to change yourself, or the world?

What are we?

We can be fighters, lovers, citizens, farmers, king, queens.

But as a collective, we are all denizens of a threatened world.

Darkness will overtake us unless we take up arms

Now I ask you all

Do you fight each other, or do you work together?

Fight the darkness that will take us down if we don't fight valorously.

What is our goal?

Many goals can lead to a bigger goal, one that many can be a part of.

But I see selfishness, all of you consumed by your own greed.

If we do not work together, we will be destroyed, the darkness knocks near our door.

Now I ask you all

Shall you work together for one goal?

Shall you create the world without evil and pain?

Shall you defend what is left, looking into the darkness without fear?

All of what I have mentioned have a common theme, Darkness

Darkness plagues us in each way.

It consumes us with greed.

It makes us unable to work as a collective of races.

All of you need to realize how dire the situation is.

IF WE DO NOT FIGHT, EVERYTHING WE WORKED FOR WILL BE FOR NAUGHT.

I tell you this, as a piece of advice.

Talk to your brothers and sisters.

Fight along side them, not against them

Help the injured along the road

Each life saved, means another person ready to fight for their life.

Do not forget those who have fallen, keep them in your heart.

Use those memories as fuel to inspire your blade or ax further

If you remember those who have fallen, then you as a person will never fall

We are not elves.

I am not half orc.

Neither are you dwarves, dwarves.

Or the humans humans.

WE ARE ALL A CITIZEN OF AEGIS!

THIS IS OUR WORLD.

WE WILL NOT SLIP INTO THE SHADOWS ANYMORE!

-Syrila gets up and looks at the crowd gathered at her feet, smiling widely-

I do not ask you to follow me

But I only ask you reflect on what I said.

Become better, and protect what you hold dear.

-Syrila hops to the front gate, the crowd watching as she curtsies and gives a gentle wave, continuing her speech in the other nations.-

*smiles at the girl, almost impressed, and begins to mutter to himself as she walks away*

I will fight, but fools will be fools. None can change that.

The robed high elf mutters something to himself quietly, completely ignoring the speech. "Damned half-breeds. I hope the stupid woman who thought it a good idea to couple with an orc is proud of her offspring now."

*grumpily mutters to himself

"It's better if we find new land..this place is a chunk of ice, the Undead and these squabblers are the matchsticks.

Safen stood back in the distance a slow smile etched itself from behind his mask. As he nodded knowing what she said to be true, his eyes focused on the women one last time. The memory of the Black Crosses, and one old Shadowy Devil -the speech would make the Grand King of the Hansetti smile down upon them from his eternal paradise in the clouds.

"I hope you are proud of them, wherever you are old friend."

Delaselva has been quietly watching from the back of the crowd. No one can see his face, but a legitimate smiles stretches across it.

"If only the hearts and words of the few people that care were enough. Only when the leaders of Aegis take action directly against the undead and do not cower inside their glorified cities will Aegis be saved. We can not lay down and take the beatings of the undead any longer, we must take the fight to them."
