Aye Darius, Your city is a wonderful example of Dwarven Ingenuity. I would suggest a deep road to connect it to the Dwarven capital directly....Such a thing should be seen as the highest honor a city can receive. Thats just my thoughts anyway.

I have all of the taxes ready and I wish to pay them. We must speak of a finite Elven weekly amount and there must be one more guild meeting, but we have the quota whenever you require it to be paid. I believe the quota has been paid from the capital's section of the guild, as I've seen the ore decrease over the weeks. If you would like the ore in bar form, I will require a smith or two in my city, if you are willing to send them. In fact, I believe we should speak soon, as I have much to speak to you about.

I may not be a dwarf, but, I feel more a part of your race than my own, as they have taken me in without too much trouble. I have been farming and providing wheat for Kal'dwain for Two, heading on, Three Elven months now and am willing to move to Mount Ire if you be needing a steady hand to till the dirt there. Even, if needed, I could help provide food for the new Capital, me being a skilled farmer and all. Any fruits of nature you be needing, be it Wheat, Pumpkins, Reed, Melons, Apples, even Cacti, I am sure to provide it if you have room for an Elf in the New Capital, and, if possible. I would prefer to live above ground. I may be more to the side of the Dwarfs, but I am still an Elf at heart, and Living underground makes me quite fearful.

*Praxedis sits at the writing desk in his private chambers above his mining shop in the capital of Hanseti. The lamplight plays against the reflection of the drifting snow falling outside his window. All night, Praxedis has been pondering the King's edict he'd seen posted on a message board as he traveled along the Southern Road earlier that day. Finally, a look of determination and resolve passes across his face as he takes quill to paper and pens a letter, ready to hand it to the first dwarf he encounters at Mount Ire.*

King Kjell and my fellow dwarves,

I've lived alongside the humans for most of my life as the Head Miner of Hanseti. I've served alongside many humans, elves, and even orcs in the Teutonic Order, and I'll always consider them to be my friends, my comrades, even my kin. My fond memories of Hanseti will never fade, and I will forever honor the memory of Hochmeisters Gaius and Samuel. But of late, I've become aware that there's something missing. I know nothing of my dwarven family or my dwarven heritage, and this gaping hole in my life has long been cause for sadness. I hope to remain welcome in Hanseti when I visit from time to time, but it's time for me to return to to dwell in the fabled halls of the dwarves. This edict clinches it, then! I'll heed the call of King Kjell!

Yr. obd't servant,

Praxedis

*With his letter finished, Praxedis climbs into his bed to prepare for the last night he expects to spend in Hanseti for quite some time. In the morning, he'll begin the long journey towards Mount Ire*

*Looks to Mili* Did you, perhaps, Joke with me in telling me there was a village? Because I am told that there is no room in the Capital, especially for an Elf like me. I get the feeling that I'm not going to be able to follow my Dwarven Brethren to the capital. I have Farmed for Kal'dwain for Nearly Two years, Darius gave me my first home, and now I am not allowed to live among him anymore? I am heartfallen and feel, at a loss. I have been told by Darius of the Ironguts, my long friend and previous Baron of Kal'dwain, that he will take care of it. I Trust him with my life, but I know that there is only so much that he can do to sway the king in my favor.

If ye' du be insistent on living above surface, Mili was right. De're be a Dwarven meadery and farmland close to de capital, de' land owned by Hildr Dawnsworn, miself, and de' meadery profits split between me n' Gimrik Braveaxe. Fer a price ye' can procure yerself a home, so ye' feel comfortable in yer nature roots.
