*As you try to navigate the now compromised roads of Asulon, dodging contact with all those whom are without a mask, you are approached by several men bearing the Teutonic black cross on their chests. After a brief greeting from the traveling Sariants, you are handed an envelope with bright gold borders and the same black cross on the soldiers, stamped on the flap. The Sariants then continue down the road, handing the same letters to those they approach. You then decide to open the letter, it reads . . .

The Teutonic Order

Fellow humans and inhabitants of Asulon alike; times are very bleak. Evils takes hold of kings, settlements fall and a plague decimates our friends and families. Everything we have worked hard to achieve since our home lands tragic demise is slowly being reversed. Each day another person becomes a victim; A victim of greed and blood lust; A victim of famine; A victim of unknown forces that take hold of them and destroy them. However, there is hope.

For decades, the Teutonic Order has refused to allow members to request membership. For generations the Order has approached individuals whom have displayed exemplary traits of honor, loyalty, skill and intelligence. But now we offer you all a chance to become something great and bigger than yourself. By order of the Hochmeister, The Teutonic Order is now recruiting.

All of those who can wield a blade, ax, or bow with proficiency are welcome to apply. We too value intellect, trade skills, and personal characteristic greatness. If you or anyone you know has the desire to do good in this world, to fend off evil, aid the poor, purge crime or advance the world, the Teutonic Order will be your surrogate of justice.

If at all you are interested in enlisting please visit the nation of Hanseti, though the current immigration and emigration movements have been halted to combat the spreading plague, The Maw acts as both the first contact into the realm but too a meeting zone for such an inquiry. You also have the option of mail communication to which the Hochmeister himself or a Sariant of The Order will meet you in a desired location, such method will yield the quickest results.

Uniform: A classic Order garb recently updated to feature a large black cross surrounded in gold and highlighted with red streaks of binding material. Since the threat of The Plague, all Order members wear a TAC Mask, developed by their own engineers. However during times of peace the Order uses the traditional Order uniform

Additional information: I have spent most of my life in the wilds living on my own. In that time I learnt how to survive and protect myself and such I am skilled in combat and survival. I learnt from books how to brew potions and salves whether they be for healing or poison.

During my many years running the Normandor library I learnt much and became somewhat of a scholar. I spent much time studying mechanics and creatimg complex mechanisms with redstone. I also learnt much about politics and bureaucracy.

Are you willing to take an oath?: I take an oath by my skin on my body and the heart in my chest that I shall never betray, falter or leave the Teutonic Order until my last breath be drawn from me.

I will do what I believe is best for the Order and nothing other then that. My Tactical purpose and intelligence will get both me and the order far in my opinion and I will do whatever it takes at my full ability to support and protect the order just as I would if it were my child.

Have you interacted with the Order before? Explain if yes: I "lived in Hanseti for a few years as a child, sometimes I'd see the Sarients doing their daily tasks.

Have you visited Hanseti before? Explain if yes: Few years back a man had brought me to Hanseti from Solace, during one of the riots. Name of Garret, he tutored me in several aspects of farming when I was young, gave me the money for a temporary passport as well. I stayed for a few years before setting out to make my own life.

Are you willing to take an oath?: Of course I'm willing. One doesn't simply join an order without following traditions.

Moral boundaries (What you will not do): Killing of the defenseless ((this is somewhat... "flexible")), thievery of the poor, Deception of the people ((again, flexible)). Doesn't really count as a moral boundary, but I HATE politics.

Additional information: After leaving Hanseti, I made a few minas here and there doing odd jobs in Ascella before heading to the wilds. I stayed in the wilds most of my life, and had quite a bit of free time on my hands. I gained some experience with weapons fending for my house, but defeating monsters is different than defeating people. I tinkered with stop watches, compasses, and several other small, gear powered gadgets a lot, though I wish for a formal education in such things. One thing Garret did give to me before I left was a small sack of books. I guess those served as my entertainment. I fended for myself a lot, mostly through farming and repairs. Only recently have I returned to the mainland, though I will be off again, due to the plague. From what I can see, the lands could do with a little more "cleansing"

Oaths are a tricky business. It all hangs on the context. If it involves protecting the innocent citizens of Hanesti, defending the values of laws moral codes, then yes. I would take a oath without hesitation.
